X-Men Legends II: Rise of Apocalypse

    game informer magazine has a new article on the sequel, here are some of the most important things they mentioned:

    - 16 characters from the start and more that you can unlock as you play
    - you can play as members of the x-men or brotherhood
    - foes include apocalypse, his 4 horsemen and lady deathstryke
    - costumes include: ultimate, astonishing, uncanny, etc.
    - 10 powers available for each character, out of the 10 you have to pick 4
    - maps 3 times bigger than the ones in the first game
    - a lot more cg scenes with improved graphics
    - better in game graphics (no glove hands this time)
    - new characters include: toad, magneto and bishop
    - this time we'll see a LOT of cameos

    i think they have to work on the graphics but they still have like 7 months to do that. the thing that hyped me the most is that now you can choose from 10 powers :D

    i hope we hear more on E3.

    i forgot to mention this

    - available for gamecube, xbox, ps2 and psp
    - comes out on fall
    - online for ps2 and xbox (no online for gamecube :()
    - more intelligent a.i.
    - more dinamic gameplay

    Ok I'm offcially excited for this one. I thought the original was near perfection and it looks like this one will be perfection plain and simple. I can't wait to put Magneto and Wolverine on the same team and watch them tear up s**t.

    Any official release date or just still "Fall"?

    just fall. i think it'll be sometime near october.
    they say that the cut scenes will show how the x-men and the brotherhood don't get along but have to work together.. that will be so cool :D

    Yeah, that will be cool. Plus the fact that even when your on the battlefield, if you mix X-Men and Brotherhood members onto your team, they will make remarks at eachother.

    Im also glad that there will be more cinematic scenes. The first game had some but it wouldn't of hurt to have added acouple more.

    Is it me,or does magneto look huge compared to everyone else in those pics? :confused:



    Anyway,this game is going to be awesome.I can't wait to play as The Brotherhood.:D

    yup there'll be more scenes but what i really like is that they changed the company that makes those scenes, the one they'll use this time is the one that made the tv ad for xml1 that looked just beautiful :D.

    how come they are wearing their old costumes!?!?! is it going to be based around astonishing x men, or ultimate, kinda what the last one was like. or are they just flash back missions like legends 1? i still havnt completed it, but i've only had it a few days! i hear its worth all the time.

    The only thing that was ultimate in x-ml 1 was the costumes...and if you look at the first screens of x-men legend they were going to use morisson's new x-men outifts at first but went with ultimate since by the time the game would be out the morissons outfit would be to.

    SO.....I'M GUESSING YOU HAVE NO MORE THAN 2-4 FRIENDS, SINCE THAT'S THE MOST THAT COULD PLAY WITH OUT ONLINE CAPABILITY?

    i always played with 6 friends, one dies and gives the controller to the other and so on. the best thing about this game is the multiplayer, and i think it's more entertaining if you're in a room playing with your friends than alone playing with people somewhere else you don't even know... IMO

    so what new characters would you guys like to see? or what new powers? anything..

    Well I hope it's better than the first one. That was too repetetive almost every leval was the same but this looks promising

    The article also mentions exclusive items and Danger Room levels.

    Damn, can't wait to tear it up with Magneto. :up:
