I've been reading some fan "scripts" for X4 here on this forum and I must say almost all of them dissapointed me. Not one of them tried to be different, to think ahead, to do something with the entire X-Lore, instead they all just do the same basically, bring back Scott, bring back Jean, bring badass Emma and bring Gambit into the fray. I've also noticed a rather annoying tendency to repeat at least one quote from the previous movies (not to mention the induction of Warren into the X-Men when he's been at the school for like five minutes). Since I want something different I guess I'm gonna have to write it myself so here is my X-Men 4 Fan Script, in which you can absolutely expect no blatant resurrections of any sort and a rather wider view of the X-Universe. I've never written in script form (favoring much more the novelesque writing of fanfiction) so let's see how this ends up.

EXT: Xavier's School (raining heavily)
LEGEND: Fifteen Years Ago
A female hand with green fingernails attempts to close the door to the institute, as she does a young man with red sunglasses opens the door.
SCOTT
Lorna you don't HAVE to go...
Full shot of the young girl leaving, she has green hair, green lips and wears a green overcoat with her hood up.
LORNA
Yes I do Scott. My father just destroyed Professor Xavier's spine and most of the ceiling. I cannot stay... we cannot stay.
Camera shows up the road, a set of clearly younger kids await next to a black car, one is a boy and the other one is a girl wearing a red coat.
SCOTT (grabs her hand)
No one blames you, you don't share your fathers' views, we all know that. Don't leave ths school, don't leave me.
The boy runs with great speed and removes Lorna's hand from Scott's, while looking at him defiantly.
PIETRO
We're leaving. Now.
Lorna looks at Scott and says nothing, and then begins to follow her brother. Thunder brokes and a huge bolt of lightning can be seen in the skies. As the twins and Lorna enter the car (one last look of the green-haired girl towards Scott, who walks out of the school down the rain), the car starts to move and the so does the camera, showing a frowning-looking young read-haired woman in a window watching the scene, her eyes flashing like fire for the briefest of seconds, and the camera keeps moving towards the skies, lightning breaking before it once more.
And lightning breaks once more and the camera starts to move downwards and we see
a small "Wisteria Lane"-like suburb.
LEGEND - Two years ago
A Taxi takes off, a man dressed in a black overcoat and hat moves away from it, grabbing two suitcases and walking towards a nice house. The man walks rather slowly, not really caring about the bad weather. The man stops himself in front of the door. He lifts his hand, but he hesitates as we hear a baby crying in the distance, and then the other opens rather violently. A man in his mid-twenties stands on the other side
MAN AT THE DOOR
What do you--- oh... it's you... (the baby crying intensifies)
The camera shows the man with the hat rising his head
ERIK
It's me.
A young woman with long curly brown-reddish hair (and a red **** and large circled earrings) appears holding a baby.
WANDA (duh)
Victor who is i-(her face suddenly changes, a deep look of surprise takes over her) Father?
Erik Lensherr smiles and walks inside as the camera remains still and focuses on his blue eyes, which seem to sparkle
Presentation (weird DNA stuff like in the first two movies, strong music, bla bla bla X-Men: New Beginnings title)
EXT Xavier's School, bright sunny day, birds chirping, the camera moves through the campus.
STORM (v.o.)
Coexistence. Whether we do it on the field, or everyday in the streets, we constantly fight for it. Charles Xavier had a dream, a dream of a world were us mutants could safely coexist with humans. Helping each other, surviving together. It is not an easy goal, it has never been an easy goal.
The camera shows a rather large assembly of mutants in the ground, all students, eventually leading up to Storm who is standing before them alone. In the crowd of sitting mutants we can see Warren, Dani Moonstar, Syrin, Leech. Some parents sit in the back as well.
STORM (camera full on her, the sun shining down upon her face)
The crisis created during the Cure affair two years ago has helped us. Though we suffered heavy losses, it is now clear mutants are far more accepted than they were. We must encourage this change of heart, this new beginning. As such... the faculty and myself have made a decision. Tomorrow is the start of term, and you all probably still wonder why we summoned you a day earlier. (Storm breathes in, taking strength). You will not be starting term alone tomorrow... (muttering starts) as of this term, Xavier's school is now open to any and all who want to study in it. As of this term, this will no longer be a school for a mutants, but a school where both humans and mutants can coexist.
The muttering begins rather heavily all over, some are outraged, some are excited, but one man, with short brightly red hair, looks at Storm rather angrily.
INT - Xavier's school hallway (camera moving towards an open door in the end)
SEAN CASSIDY (v.o.) (deep Irish accent)
Are you daft woman? Opening up the school for humans? You just put a gigantic target on this kids' backs! I'll take me daughter out of here instantly if you keep this up.
INT- Inside Headmistress' office, Storm standing behind her desk while Sean screams angrily in front of her. A glass flower vase breaks
STORM
First calm down, your voice is destroying my things. Second... do you think I don't know that? I argued as hard as you're arguing now, but she would not hear it. She has chosen this, and I ... I have to support her idea.
SEAN (with clear confusion)
Her idea? Who are you talking about?
EXT - A small island in the middle of the ocean, waves crashing heavily upon them, a gigantic building complex in the middle of it
LEGEND - Muir Island, Mutant Research Center
INT - Lab a young puerto-rican woman in a lab coat runs holding a pack of blood (have no idea what do you call those things), shouting can be heard, she runs trough a set of doors to find Dr Moira McTaggert in surgery, with several helpers around and the disting sound of the machine (the beeeeeep sound it makes when someone is dying).
MOIRA
Again! He's dying! Clear!
She plunges the pallet thingies (no, I am not an ER fan so I have no clue what name those things have) shocking his system. The man flinches. She does it again and the sound begins to sound "normal", we see the signal and it starts spiking.
Moira removes the machine from him and clears her forehead.
MOIRA
Close one... Charles... Charles can you hear me?
CHARLES (v.o.)
M... Moira?
MOIRA
This cannot go on Charles, you cannot remain in this body. We have to take his offer
CHARLES (v.o.)
I... I won't...
MOIRA
I'm sorry Charles, I know you don't like it, but it's the only way... and I will fight for you this time... I won't loose you again
Moria takes a cell phone from her lab coat and dials a number, placing it on her ear
MOIRA
Forge? It's Moira... I need your help
EXT - New York City - Outside a bank, several police cars flanking it, with several bystanders
A security guard flies through the banks' window as the cops lift their guns even higher.
JUBILEE (v.o.)
We should just blow them all up... I think I can see one of them from here.
The camera shows the ceiling across the bank, a couple of SWAT snipers taken out cold. Wolverine lights a cigar, next to him, Jubilee (wearing a yellow overcoat on top of her black X-Uniform) is laying on the ground, looking down.
LOGAN
Kid... shut the hell up.
INT - Bank - people cowering in fear. A quartet of mutants (who fans would certainly recognize as Caliban (big post-Apocalypse version), Masque (first version, ugly as hell), Erg (the eyepatch saiyan-hair morlock one for the uninitiated) and Marrow have the people under control, clearly demanding the money.
MARROW (aiming with a bone shard at the counter)
So... wanna prove if we're bluffing again? All the money... now...
CALIBAN
Caliban sorry he broke the window...
ERG (whispering to his gigantic friend)
Shut up dude
In the crowd of scared humans we see Kitty Pryde, holding her hand close to her lips and clearly whispering, as she talks the bank employees hand money towards Marrow
KITTY
There are four... a big one, he threw the guard out... I bet Piotr can take him, a weird one who disgured the guard first with his hands... grossest thing I ever saw, a tall guy, I don't know what he does... and then there's the girl in the lead who has all this bones sticking out.
LOGAN (v.o. muffled)
Good. Wait for the signal
EXT - Cut to Logan on roof
LOGAN
Russkie you heard it? Are you --? What the f--?
A shadow covers the area and Logan and Jubilee look up and see a helicopter moving downwards, the helicopter lands in the middle of the street and police cars
JUBILEE
SWAT? SHIELD?
LOGAN (sniffing)
Worse...
He immediately jumps down to the ground and pushes Jubilee's head down.
LOGAN (into comm device in his hand)
Everyone, stay put
The chopper's door opens and a young blonde haired man steps out, he wears a black almost x-men like uniform with a series of concentric circles in the chest. Behind him there is a green haired woman, a wolf-like girl and two mutants fans will recognize, Sabretooth and Toad.
HAVOK (flashing a badge)
We'll take it from here.
COP (looking at badge)
Who are you people?
Havok doesn't answer, but he moves towards the building, the other following him. Sabretooth stops, sniffing the air for a second, looking towards Logan's building, and then follows.
INT - Bank, Marrow gleeing at the pile of money
The door explodes and at the same time Toad, Sabretooth and Wolfsbane enter through the broken window jumping inside.
MARROW (turning around suprised)
What the-Attack them!
Kitty watches as Caliban is attacked by Sabretooth rather viciously, each fighting with all their might. Lorna moves towards Masque, separating him from another guard with her magnetic powers, enveloping him in a banister from a nearby staircase.
LORNA
Stand still now ugly one
Havok fires his blasts towards Erg, who lifts his eye-patch firing a blast of energy as well, the energies meeting hal-way. Toad uses his long tongue to grab Marrow's bone shards as Wolfsbane jumps towards her, but an instant before she manages to touch her, Marrow dissapears in a cloud of blue smoke. Masque dissapears next, and then Erg, and finally Caliban
LORNA
What is going on?
TOAD
Teleporter... they got one
Kitty looks at the money and a cloud of blue smoke appears on top of it. For a second we clearly see Nightcrawler on top of the money, Lorna throws the banister around where the money is, but both Kurt and the money dissapear.
HAVOK
Damn... we almost had them this time
SABRETOOTH
We ain't done. I smell another mutant here
Kitty opens her eyes in surprise as Sabretooth looks her way, but before she can move she finds herself hoisted up by her own metal bracelets. She phases down instantly, she is wearing normal clothes. In the back we can see Wolfsbane and Toad leading the hostages out
LORNA
So... what do we have here?
HAVOK (his hands glowing)
Talk fast girl... who are you?
SABRETOOTH
She smells like Xavier's
The nearby wall explodes and we can see Colossus moving in, fully armored and angry.
COLOSSUS
Get away from her
BOBBY (whispering, in ice form)
Peter, is this what you call staying put?
SABRETOOTH (adopting a fighting stance)
More of Xavier's pups... this is going to be fun
LORNA (moving between Sabretooth and Colossus)
There will be no fighting here among us... what are you kids doing here?
BOBBY
We were sort of following those robbers, we want to stop them seeing as they're giving mutants a bad name.
HAVOK
That is our job. You X-Men have no sanction whatsoever.
LOGAN (walking in through Colossus' hole in the wall)
And you mooks do? We were warned about the attack, we came with the intention to stop it, and we might've if you hadn't barged in and ruined everything.
Sabretooth growls at the sight of Logan, but does nothing more.
HAVOK
We bear no ill will towards you, Wolverine, but you're gonna have to come with us after this (he points at the wall)
LOGAN (flashing his claws)
Just try it, bub.
Suddenly an ear-splitting sound can be heard and all the X-Men fall to the ground, grabbing their heads. A man with a ponytail and moustache enters holding a machine in his hands. After twitching for a few seconds, the four X-Men pass out.
FORGE
Put them on the plane...
LORNA
There was no need for that. They're not our enemies
FORGE
They will be.
As the X-Men are loaded on the plane by Sabretooth, Toad and Lorna (magnetically lifting Logan and Colossus), Jubilee (hidden in the crowd of bystanders) looks towards them one more time, holds her hand shut and runs away in the opposite direction.
