Okay, so I preordered this from Gamestop. The release is tomorrow. I'm excited as hell! I only hope I can see enough of the story mode before X3 next week and still have some replayability left in it.

It's out here in the UK friday...let me know your thoughts when you get it.

I'm torn on what version to get....the 360 looks ALOT nicer, and has achievements, but I just don't know :(

I am looking forward to it though....

I just ordered the game off of Amazon, it should be here by Thursday. I"m kinda hoping it's not like Wolverines Revenge, that was HORRIBLE.

On GameRankings, the 360 version got a 74%, PS2 and Xbox got 69%, and Gamecube and PC both got 93%. It's rare that a GC version is the best.

No doubt X-Men Legends 1 and 2 were great, but we've already played those. I'm mostly interested in seeing and playing Nightcrawlers portion. Plus I'm a heavy X-Men movie fan, so this is a must for me.

Sorry I haven't gotten my initial opinions up. Look for something more indepth from me on Friday of this week. Work from 5 am to 1 pm then school/clinicals from 2p to 9:30p is killer.

Seeing how Batman Begins and Spider-Man 2 are the only good movie to games out there, I'll probably give this a rent....just to see what happens with Nightcrawler.

It's a good game, definitely could've improved on the fighting techniques like adding a grab or a throw, and giving Wolverine a little bit more speed--but it's a good game nonetheless. I am disappointed in that we're only allowed to play as 3 characters rather than some of the new characters from the movie, and I'm disappointed we don't get a Juggernaut level....as much as I hate his look in the movie it still would've been fun to square off against him as Colossus (who has a TERRIBLE voice in the game).

The cut-scenes (or lack of) bother me as well. I get the whole "comic look" but I wanted to see some damn video!

    So far I'd give it a 7.5/10

Yeah, they definitely could've added in a little bit more versatility as far as characters go, but oh well.

How can there be such a big quality gap? I always thought the GC was the weaker console?

I got mine a few days ago for the 360. I think I'm on level 7 and there's 28 levels. The game is allot of fun, but I wish you could have played the movie out instead.

I'm definitely bummed they didn't include Beast, Angel or even Juggernaut, but I understand that this takes place BEFORE X3 so I guess it makes sense.

    Still would've been cool though...

Right now I am in Japan as Wolverine about to square off against Silver Samurai.

Yeah, this game is completely average. Nightcrawler's levels are pretty fun, but Wolverine's are awful. And the "cutscenes" remind me of "Tom Goes To The Mayor". I don't really even want to finish this game, but my X-Men geekiness is compelling me too.

I have heard a lot of good things as well as bad, so I'm still betting it's at least worth checking out....
