Looks like there's a new X-Men game coming in 2011.

NewsLad was the Community Manager for the M:UA 2 website/forums. In his final post, he mentions:

Just because I’m leaving doesn’t mean this is the end of feedback from the community, though. Within the next month, you will be receiving a survey regarding your thoughts on Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2, as well as your input for the next X-Men game.

So, speculation says it's X-Men Legonds 3. However, it looks like Vicarious Visions will be developing it as NL has connections to them.

Looks like there will be more than one X-Men game coming.

One more thing that is on its way. Yes we are planning to do a survey on what you liked / didn't like about MUA2 and what you would want for the next X-Men games. That was something that we'd initially hoped to get out before the end of the year (while I was away on vacation) but it obviously hasn't happened yet. My goal is to get this to you before the end of the month. So stay tuned for that too.

MUA2 was VV's first game & it was pretty good for their first game. I'd be happy if they worked on this.

I really hope it's an XML game. That style works best for team games IMO.

If it is indeed X-Men Legends 3, chances are I'll buy it. I just love the X-characters.

I'm just hoping for a few of the more underused characters to be playable.

UA2 wasn't a horrible game, the story just did nothing for me, so a better original story like XML2 had, I'll be sold.

I haven't played MUA 2 yet, I was going to wait and see if they were going to put out a Gold edition, but I guess that didn't work out too well, lol.

I want both MUA 3 and XML 3, both made by Raven, they knew what they were doing with the games, but I can't judge MUA 2 yet because I haven't played it. But based on reviews and feedback, Raven should be back at the reigns.

VV on XML3 and Raven on Deadpool, I'd be happy if that happened.

I would like to see an XML where you get to play as some of the villains, notably Sinister for me. And I think in the next direction for MUA would be cool to see a villains version where you fight against the heroes.

For some reason, I just didn't dig the story to MUA2, and even the presence of Gambit didn't convince me to buy it.

But an X-Men only rpg, I have bought those in an instant. So yea, XML3 would be awesome. I just hope they follow up on the end scene in XML2 and make Sinister one of the main baddies.

I've been dying to play as Havok since you got to use him in danger room training missions in XML1 or 2

Thing is I would love to have a "Keep it in the family" style team with Cyclops, Havok, Jean Grey, and Polaris.

That would be such an awesome team.

As somebody who loves to play as the projectile characters, I don't find Cyclops fun at all.
