X3i: Divinity (Original Superhero Series/Movie)

We'd love any comments/feedback/criticisms!!!

X3i was created by my best friend Alex Randleman and I back in 2003 at The Ohio State University. Alex, being huge fan of comics (in fact, he majored in creative writing to become a comicbook writer) wanted to create a universe for some of his characters to play in on screen and I wanted to take what little film making ability I had at the time and try to bring his characters to life on screen.

It started out as a project we did just for fun but quickly kept getting bigger. Soon, I was able to turn it into an actual course that students could get college credit for to be a part of the production, from actors to crew. We then were able to put it on Buckeye TV (OSU's student television network) but our real response came from the viewers online and we established (to our surprise ha) a little bit of a fan base. We finished 4 episodes but couldn't finish the whole season we had planned due to time restraints so we decided to spin the series off into a feature film "X3i: Divinity" which we are working on currently. Anyways, I can keep going on in detail on the characters and back story but that would just defeat the purpose of the X3i myspace page we created haha.

If you all have any interest you can head on over to http://www.myspace.com/x3i to check out the first 4 episodes, some commercials for the tv series and also a few trailers for the feature film "Divinity". The first 4 episodes are hard for me to watch now because they were made so long ago but I'm sure every film maker/artist can relate to having trouble watching/viewing some of their past projects haha. Also, you can check out an interview with Alex and I on "Divinity" over at http://www.comicbookbin.com/divinityinterview_001.html and also you can get a closer peak at some of the characters in the movie at http://www.comicbookbin.com/thecastofdivinity_777.html

Here are a few trailers for the film:

Thanks for your time guys and I hope you can find some enjoyment out of what we've put together! We hope to have the movie out early next year.

ps here are a few pics from the film and character desktops..

Wow, this is pretty sweet (wasn't expecting that). You all have a lot of cool characters. I'll tell my friends about this. I hope others check it out!

How much did something like this cost to make?
Thanks man, the budget for the movie cost around $400-$500. We don't have much to work with :\
