Xbox 360?

Quick Question about the 360 Hardrives and the arcade version...first off...I want to upgrade from xbox to the 360 but don't really have the money except for the arcade bundle...the only real question I have is whats the difference b/t the arcade bundle and the other 360's I know it doesn't have the harddrive...does the affect gameplay? Saving Games? Playing Games? Can you play and save w/o having a harddrive?

Well, Xbox 360 Arcade has an internal 256 MB memory, so you can save some games with the console, but not much. I think it is better to spend an extra $100 for the Pro console and its 60GB HD, because if you buy the HD separate it will cost more money. It doesn't affect the gameplay, but it's extremely inconvenient to not be able to save or download patches and DLC due to lack of HD.

Yeah I say wait till you can get the Pro. At first it may not be a biggie to have so little space, but eventually you'll want DLC and all kinds of other stuff that needs saved.

Im finding myself in a pickle as iv had my 360 since launch which means i have the 20gig HDD and im finding myself running out of space. Im either going to purchase a 120 gig HDD off of eBay or just save up, trade in my current 360 and purchase an Elite.

I brought Pro, but in hindsight I wish I would've gotten Elite, or Arcade + 120 HD (which will be cheaper than Pro but more HD). I just like to have a huge HD so I can download everything heh.

I would actually really recommend waiting to get the Elite. The extra space is pretty much needed if you want to have games installed at this point.

The HD is only used to store saves with BC games.

XBL has Xbox Originals that you can download to your HD and play, but it's a very limited library.
