Yet another reason to never text while driving

I wouldn't really consider this "yet another" reason to not text and drive, as much as it's the same goddamn reason we've heard time and time and time again...

Seriously, people, both eyes on the road. Get a ****ing clue. :o

That's why they have such a push for self driving cars.

They'll probably crash those too though.

Word. At least she died happy

Not to be sexist--I sincerely want to know if anyone has heard of a guy getting in an accident because of texting.

Texting while driving deaths don't seem gender-specific, as much as age specific. It's a young people thing.

Not sure if it's an urban legend type story but I recall something about a guy tweeting something along the lines of "Cutting through lanes while tweeting - YOLO" getting into a fatal car accident.

Whether that's legit or not - I don't think the general stupidity has a gender preference.

Not everyone reads all your articles DJ. Jeez.

:p

It's not unheard of. I mean Tupacs been dead for decades and he's still making music.

Just trying to bring awareness to the fact that we have a stupid people thread and it's a rare day that someone beats me to a post about something stupid haha

It's our generations natural selection.....sadly people who aren't texting sometimes fall victim to these people and don't deserve to lose their lives...

other times we get situations like this

Eyes on the road, people. Set your damn phone down.

Yeah, well YODO too, dude. As his situation proved.

YOLO always seemed like a stupid thing to yell out while doing something dangerous.

Youre a young adult admitting you only have one life to live but you want to do something incredibly dangerous, ignorant, and pointless that might cut your one life short and cause you to miss out some truly great joys in life...

Well, that makes perfect sense.:o

There was an anti-texting commercial that aired for a while featuring a young man suffering from severe brain damage brought on by texting while driving.

I love it when people use the word "YOLO." It makes it easier for me to figure out which people to completely avoid.

I know, right? YOLO is supposed to apply to things like broadening the horizons of your sexuality or trying different cuisines, not driving under the influence, you idiot teenagers/twenty-somethings. They've ruined YOLO, they've ruined everything! :cmad::csad::o

YOLO was ruined the moment it was abducted by hipsters.
