Movie recommendation: For those who haven't seen it, see Sunshine, it was amazing. It might seem to have an idiotic plot in league with Hilary Swank's The Core, but it's directed by Danny Boyle (Trainspotting, 28 Days Later), and is easily the best sci-fi movie since Gattaca.

US DVD release is questionable, so download it

^ I'm gonna go ahead and disagree with you. Danny Boyle may be able to make it look pretty and Cillian may be the star of my late night sexy physicist fantasies... but that movie is way too hokey. I'd rather just watch A Scanner Darkly again. In fact, I think I'll go do that now.

Right now I'm on Dr. Who. It's surprisingly watchable, although that may vary with your appreciation of "will they or won't they?" vibe. And I really wish they'd go down the Farscape route and have a man in a suit once in a while. The CGI improves with the second season, especially with the werewolf, but I still think they should go with old-fashioned make-up once in a while.
