I like how they say that he'll be making a rare appearance. With Undertaker I always imagine that he makes the gong hit before being in public, so I'm imagining him showing up with the stage fog and music before sitting down for the interview.

Almost choked on my food picturing this in my head.

TNA REACTION TO HULK WANTING BISCHOFF IN CHARGE OF THE COMPANY
by Mike Johnson @ 11:18 AM on 8/29/2013

As we noted on PWInsider.com, Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff took part in a Q&A in Toronto over the weekend as part of the Fan Expo event. A fan asked Hogan what could finally be done to make TNA successful.

Hogan said that Eric Bischoff "needed to be given the keys to the car" and that, "somebody somewhere" needed to "drop all the resources we need like we had in the WWE and the WWF, whether it be cameras or money or vehicles or advertising" in order for TNA to work "in a perfect world."
In asking around about what TNA's response to the comments were, I was told that a number of people within the company were upset about the statement for several reasons and that there's absolutely heat on the duo for even insinuating that the Carter family wasn't giving TNA proper resources.

As one source noted, no matter how you feel about her, the comments can't be seen as anything but a direct slap in the face to TNA President Dixie Carter, coming from her top paid talent, no less.

"Even if you agreed with Hulk, " said one TNA wrestler that spoke under condition of anomynity, "the way it was said and the way it comes across in that video just completely disrespected Dixie, even if that's not what he meant."

Two, the reality is that to many in the company, Bischoff has been given the keys to the car. From the day he and Hogan came into the company, TNA management has acquiesced to their creative direction and ideas - whether it be talent that was brought in, the removal of the six-sided ring, the failure that came with moving Impact Wrestling to Mondays opposite Raw, leaving the Impact Zone and taking TNA on the road, etc. These were all ideas that came from the Bischoff/Hogan era that TNA agreed to under the auspice of growing the company.

The problem with all that is, as one source noted, there has been no growth in any facet of TNA's business since The Bischoff/Hogan regime began - not in live events, not in ratings, not in licensing - not in any one department or aspect of the promotion.

Instead, the company went on the road and didn't see the estimated revenue that they believed would come with it, forcing them to restructure from the ground up and putting them into a position where they have to be the "evil company" letting Jesse Soresen go and have to be in a position where money is an issue re-signing their original poster boy, AJ Styles.

At the same time, TNA has paid Hogan a good salary and put Bischoff into a position where he became the conduit and liason between Spike and TNA, even before Dixie Carter, who created and cultivated the relationship between the two sides.

So, the pair continue to reap the rewards of being part of the company while others have lost their jobs, have had their deals restructured for less money and watch as the company continues to, at best, run on a treadmill and at worse, slide backwards. To put it in layman's terms, TNA is putting out more money to be exactly where they were, or worse, in comparison to before Bischoff/Hogan's regime began.

So, for Hogan to say that TNA should just hand Bischoff a blank check and full power, well, you can imagine how much all that has endeared the duo inside the TNA offices this week, especially when everyone's work and deals have been scrutinized closely in recent months.

A number of people noted that they would be waiting to see what the interaction between the duo and Dixie Carter would be at tonight's taping in Cleveland, the first time Hogan has been at a TNA taping in a month.
"Hulk came across like he pretty much said that the company didn't have anyone strong in charge and Eric was the savior," said the TNA wrestler. "Well, they've been here years and Eric hasn't saved anyone yet."

Ah, the winged eagle in all it's glory. We 'll never have a great WWE Championship design again.

I resent this remark. I think the Big Logo Belt is the best we've had since the Winged/Big Eagle days.

On not being a fan of technical wrestling:

"Who gives a crap about technical wrestling? Listen, technical wrestling doesn't put asses in seats. Nobody wants to see technical wrestling. Technical wrestling is boring. People want to see [/I]car crashes and big explosions and they want to see guys fight and bleed and have sex with the other guy's girlfriend."

Because the ratings have just shot up since Bully Ray has become champ.

On Devon's recent departure from TNA:

Ok, I hope Bully Ray really doesnt believe what he's saying about Technical wrestling because that would mean that he just happily slapped the best guys on the TNA roster in the face such as AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels, Bobby Roode, Austin Aries, and Kurt Angle.

Never mind the other examples proving him wrong in WWE.

This guy disagrees with Bully Ray:

Bully has got a point regarding technical wrestling to an extent. I remember all the ridiculous boo's and jeers Kurt was getting when he first debuted in the E.

You know, I KIND OF see what he is saying there. If you look at the most popular wrestlers of the last 30 years or so, many have been guys like Austin (a brawler), Goldberg (a powerhouse with a very limited skill set), Hulk Hogan, and The Rock (two guys that were more "spectacle" than technical wrestlers).

the problem with TNA is that there's nothing unique about them anymore.

at least with the 6 sided ring, they had something that was different.

Hulk Hogan still wrestled technical matches in Japan so he had a decent excuse due to the Mcmahons only wanting him to wrestle like a power wrestler..according to Hogan anyway. Regarding Austin, whether or not Stone Cold would wrestle technically, he was still over. Fans were behind Stone Cold prior to the injury given to him by Owen Hart. Example, Stone Cold and HBK's match at KOTR 97 .

Stone Cold didnt brawl because thats what people "wanted to see", he brawled to accomodate his injuries.

I don't think he's over because he's a technical wrestler, but rather, because he freaking flips his **** everytime he's in the ring, despite early impressions when he first joined the company, he's got a freaking huge personality, and overall is just entertaining.

For the most part, I agree. Technical wrestling is boring. I don't want to watch guys laying on the mat putting each other in pretend submission holds.

Regardless, his character is why people like him and his technical ability isn't turning people off. He's managed to get people to care about what he does in the ring and what he says on the mic.

If people didnt like Technical wrestling at all, they would never cheer: "This is Awesome!!" when CM Punk and Daniel Bryan, Daniel Bryan and Dolph Ziggler, John Cena and Daniel Bryan, CM Punk and Chris Jericho etc etc put on a technical match nor would they have been engaged in Shawn Michaels and Kurt Angle's match at Wrestlemania 21. So fighting style is secondary to character and promos when it comes to the audience but fighting style isnt a complete make or break either.

The fact that people cheer and chant more during matches by Austin Aries, AJ Styles, Kurt Angle, Christopher Daniels, and Bobby Roode makes what Bully Ray is saying seem hilarious as well....unless he's having a violent match with one of those guys, Hardy or Sting.

http://www.impactwrestling.com/news...ht-s-Bound-For-Glory-Series-matches-on-IMPACT

Tonight on Impact Wrestling on Spike TV is “Must Win Thursday” in the BFG Series. Each year, the BFG Series pits 12 wrestlers in a series of matches with the top four moving on to the BFG Series Final Four at No Surrender (Sept 12th in St. Louis). Last year, the series was held under Round Robin rules with the eventual winner being Jeff Hardy.

In 2013, the BFG series shifted to bring more of the series to Spike TV and include the Joker’s Wild (Random Draw Tag Team Tournament), Hardcore Justice (Fourway Hardcore Matches) and the Fan Choice event (allowing you to pick the BFG card). The 2013 BFG Series has provided each talent the same amount of opportunities to earn the same amount of points. By the end of this week’s BFG Series matches (after this coming week’s Xplosion show), each wrestler was scheduled to have had seven one-on-one matches with one exception.

Magnus, due to an unforeseen issue, will not be appearing on tonight’s Impact Wrestling on Spike TV. Magnus currently has competed in 5 matches and was scheduled to face Kazarian on Xplosion this week and Jeff Hardy on Spike TV tonight. Due to the circumstances, TNA officials have met and made the following decision:
Magnus will stand with his current total of 39 points. Jeff Hardy and Kazarian will face each other tonight on Impact Wrestling on Spike TV to make up their originally scheduled match with Magnus. Also the originally scheduled Kazarian vs. Hernandez match will move to Xplosion this week.

“Must Win Thursday“ tonight will now feature three matches with serious implications on the BFG Series Final Four scheduled for No Surrender in St. Louis; Austin Aries vs. Christopher Daniels, Jeff Hardy vs. Frankie Kazarian, and AJ Styles vs. Bobby Roode. Tune in tonight at 9/8c for all this and the return of Hulk Hogan on Spike TV.

Good lord. Not a huge fan of implants but her aesthetic is the best WWE's ever had

I was a fan of Husky Rotunda but he's not living up to his potential right now. I can honestly say I find Miz matches more entertaining than Bray Wyatt matches. I believe in the Shield & I ain't interested in seeing the Wyatts take their spot.

The WWE has been pretty good recently. This storyline w/Dbry is awesome &I really hope they don't **** it up. I've been DVRing Raw & I watched a full ep of Smackdown for the 1st time in years. It feels good to care this much about this stuff again.

The Divas show is far more interesting than I thought it'd be. It turns out that all the divas have personality flaws except for Natty(so far). I'd thought my beloved Naomi was perfect, but she went very unprofessional w/the shoving. Cameron can be annoying at times. Nikki & Brie are on equal ***** footing after the whole diet thing. Brie was an ******* for calling her sister fat. Nikki has the better body although I liked her more b4 the implants. Brie looks too boney at times. Nice looking girls but if you look at their chins the wrong way they start to look like that badguy from Tango &Cash. Eva Marie is kinda stupid. Losing respect for Tyson for the way he treats Natty. Very interesting show tho.

All they need to do now is make a videogame w/Aki style gameplay & I'd be really happy

- Id say its up to WWE Creative to give him more to sink his teeth into because his work on NXT is brilliant.

- That rumor about the Wyatts taking The Shield's spot was simply a myth.

- Keep in mind that most of Reality TV is scripted 99.9% of the time.

Kharma's new look.

I've had a dream scenario with her after AJ's pipebombshell the other night:

AJ's obviously pissed off a large amount of the Diva's division, if not all of it, so she'll be by herself against all of them going forward. Layla won't be enough to help her, and Big E can't hit any women, so what can AJ do? Enter Kharma as her new backup. She's still got her beef with the Bellas that was never resolved, as well as taking on the divas division as a whole. And it could also lead to an eventual comedy storyline where AJ and Kharma feud because Kharma wants Big E for herself. :cwink:

-- Samuray del Sol is no more as the Mexican-American luchador will be known as Kalisto going forward as part of WWE's NXT division. The 26-year-old issued the following message Thursday on Twitter announcing the name change.

"KALISTO! ESTA LISTO PARA @WWENXT! #LUCHALIFE."

-- UPDATE: It was previously reported that tonight's iMPACT! lineup had been changed, and that Magnus was not appearing on the show. It appears that he had been pulled from the show due to getting his work VISA renewed. He posted the following on his Twitter today…

En route stateside & got my renewed visa back in time...couldn't have done it without the help of @MissLRaffo who TheDX should def promote!

Resent it all you want but I'm not changing it. It's still too gimmicky for me. The WWE Championship is now like a wise old man, who concerned about not being cool, started dressing like a teenager and following all the kewl trends.

She's been doing a lot of bodybuilding competitions in recent years, so she has become a little more muscular than I generally like to see women. But, I will always have a thing for Kristal. Lashley's an idiot.

I'm assuming Lashley either cheated on or dumped her?
