WrestleMania was a great example of this. You basically had multiple promising young talent (The New Day, the League of Nations, The Wyatt's, etc) get made to look like chumps just so that the aging, retired, or semi-retired "legends" (Stone Cold, The Rock, Foley, HBK, Cena, etc) can come in to "save the day." Because apparently they can do what people half their age who are full-time performers cannot. The tag team champs couldn't take down the LON, but 50-something HBK and Stone Cold (who has bad knees and a bad neck/back that forced him into retirement to begin with) and old man Foley, who looks like he has trouble even walking half of the time, can take them down like it's nothing The Wyatt's were their to be humiliated by Cena and Rock.
That's not a good way to continue to build your business long-term. You cannot rely on the retirees forever just to prop you up.
Why is Rock in the mix here? Is he gonna stink up Mania with another one of his awful matches?
What bugs me is this guy is taking things beyond the safety concerns and making it personal by bashing him for not having charisma or ring psychology, basically calling him a spot monkey.
So "Sanity" is:
a faction of Nikki Storm, Alexander Wolfe, Skylar Fulton and Eric Young
The losses at WrestleMania 32 for AJ Styles and Becky now seem like an afterthought.
Interesting article on how the Rock's producing partner is also his ex-wife:

Paying their dues was the reasoning I guess.
There's some Speculation going around WWE wants to do someething in the vein of the Crusierweight Classic. Only this time involing women I'd be all for that if it happens.

I think in the case of AJ, his lost was meant to be unpredictable. I think everyone expected him to win, so for him to lose, it was a shocker, just like Charlotte retaining was.I sincerely doubt it (especially AJ, he has no need to "pay his dues" at this stage of is career). Becky losing was about letting Charlotte retain the title while also protecting Sasha at the same time (which is why the storyline was ultimately about Charlotte vs. Sasha and how Sasha got hosed by Ric Flair). Essentially, Becky was the proverbial "sacrificial lamb" on the alter of the Charlotte/Sasha storyline.
And my guess is that AJ losing was before Vince and co realized that he could be a top guy (since apparently they saw him more as a mid-card enhancement talent initially and then change their minds later on). Also maybe they felt like Jericho needed a WM win or something.
Really the Brand Extension has helped both of them immensely. I doubt that they'd have gotten these opportunities if there hadn't been one, or at least not gotten opportunities this quickly anyway.

But let's not forget, the very next night, AJ won the fatal four way to become the number 1 contender, and he headlined two PPVs back to back with Roman. he got some great exposure, and those matches were some of Roman's best at that time. So to me, it seemed like they didn't want to push him too much too fast. Same reason why I don't see Bayley winning the belt anytime soon.
I hope TJ Perkins gets a new attire for Raw, His CWC attire is too colorful and random for me but other that that he has a good look, is great in the ring, decent on the mic and I like his theme.
He usually has random and weird attires but these 2 are my favorite
