That suicide dive by Cesaro is a perfect illustration of so many of the guys taking needless risks nowadays. The sad thing was that the match was already very enjoyable but he still felt the need to nearly kill himself.

Even Sheamus betrayed himself for a brief moment as he extended a worried hand to Cesaro.

My thing with the suicide dive is that both guys need to do work. I don't blame Sheamus in this case, but with Big E specfically, the last time he tried it on Braun, Braun didn't move back and use momentum to catch him. Instead, Big E just hit him on the apron and had no momentum to move out so he naturally landed on his head.

But in the case of Cesaro, he dove down too soon so Sheamus couldn't really catch him or break his fall. That comes more from either inexperience, or last second fears.

Nah, that wasn't DX. Back in the independent promotion PWG, Kevin Steen was in a stable known as the Mount Rushmore of wrestling, which included the Young Bucks and Adam Cole. Those three guys are current Bullet Club members and are known for their suck its. I thought it was a great part of the match because it showed that Owens remembers where he came from and honored his friends in his first WWE PPV main event.

No disrespect to Bullet Club but no one is going to think of them first when seeing crotch chops and/or the turkish wolf.

I can't believe they took the US title off Rusev. He was killing it before Reigns got involved.

It was obvious Reigns was getting the U.S title at some point.

When no other titles changed beforehand it was obvious Rusev was screwed. Someone better should have taken the title off him.

That's what bothers me more. The entire status quo was kept unchanged except that.

I just read this rumor, and I highly doubt this will happen anytime soon:

- WWE officials are apparently very high on Dana Broooke and there are plans in place to give her a huge push in a program with Charlotte and have her work as the top babyface on the RAW women's roster, over the likes of Bayley and Sasha Banks.

I can see a face turn, but there's no way she'll be the top face.

Stuff like this is what kills a wrestler's career nowadays. Wrestlers who haven't won a lot of fans over being rumored as the next pet project. All this does is breed contempt and Dana will be the next public enemy #1 because she'll get pushed before she's built any good will with the audience. Genius.

I know, but to think it's DX related is to miss out on something significant.

There are also rumors coming out that Rollins is injured, possibly with rib issues where he had some trouble breathing. I don't know whether these are true or just for story purposes, but somewhere Bret Hart must be smiling. He will soon issue a statement claiming KO is unsafe.

No, Bret will blame Rollins somehow because Seth Rollins is the great satan of wrestling now.

If they honestly think that they can push Dana as the top babyface, especially over Bayley and Sasha, then all that they're likely to get is another Roman Reigns situation, only worse Also I am so freaking bored of the never-ending Charlotte title reigns (actually I'm bored with her in-general). She'd had it for like 90% of the that she's been on the roster.

I feel like they have dug their own grave regardless of whether that happens or not. The Raw women's division, at the moment, has 6 active women, and 4 of them need protection.

You can only job out Alicia Fox to Nia Jax so many times before it gets old, and you can only job out Dana Brooke to Sasha/Bayley before that gets old. Raw has the bigger names, especially with the women, but they don't have the room to build new stars without hurting others, and so far, Bayley has been the sacrificial lamb, much like Becky has been. Yet look at Smackdown, where it's a more even playing field, and you can create some new interesting rivalries and stars.

That's another thing, I'm not feeling them doing "underdog" Bayley yet again so quickly. It reeks of a lack of creative writing. Also I just cannot buy Bayley as an "underdog" again that I've seen her beat cleanly repeatedly before. That ship has already sailed.

I don't know these are the same people that want Roman Reigns to be the top face no matter what the audience wants.

Rollins really did get injured or at least enough to get x rays earlier, Damn I hope it ain't serious where he needs to take months off again

They'd really be in trouble if that happens. Rollins is basically the closest thing that Raw has to a top babyface right now (which is sad on so many levels). If he goes out, than they've got no one.

Maybe Sami Zayn, but he's little more than a glorified jobber right now (heck he just lost to 45/46-year old Chris Jericho clean).

Meanwhile on Smackdown Live:

Let's be honest, did anyone think that Becky and AJ Styles would ever be champions in the WWE? I didn't.

Aren't these the same dirtsheets that reported a few months ago that McMahon hated Brooke upon seeing her work in the ring?

Wow, they're giving this opening match a lot of time.

There's a dude at ringside with the same hairstyle as Sasha Banks.
