Ok, I'm not sure if this has been done before or not, but I think it'd be cool if some of the great artists on here posted their best piece from this year.

I know it's hard to choose, but if you could pic one piece that showed your accomplisments from this year, what would it be?

Heaven and Hell II - I feel like the lighting and the figures were actually cumulative over a number of pieces.

So, let's try to keep it to one per person, and maybe this way, a lot of people (who aren't forum hounds) get to see what they might have been missing.

it's not comic art, but i think this is probably my best piece i did this year. ironically, i did it at the end of november/early december.

ive been wanting to learn vexels/vectors, and this was my first real attempt after i got my tablet mid-december. i still have a long ways to go, but i'm really happy with this.

This is a tough one. If I had to pick one, I would say this one, because it encompasses the best of all the elements of my work. But this is only my opinion.

I loved that Gambit pic the first time I saw it and every time since... Its amazing and really captures the idea floated by the producers of the X-flicks of 'Sawyer' from 'Lost' playing Gambit. So kick-ass!

Wow it looks like 2006 was a good year huh. The Jerome Bettis and Catwoman/Batman put a on my face. Great colors/textures and personality too.
Edit: I guess the favorite thing I did would be the south park x-men movie that batboy99 and me did together. I don't know which ep is my favorite cuz that is probably yet to come but oh well...

It might run slow from photobucket but runs better on my computer.

This is definately my favourite piece of work this year



Done it from scratch with photoshop and it took somewhere around 10 hours to do, im really happy with how it turned out Hopefully I can get a graphics tablet in the near future though, it would be so much easier than using a mouse.

I don't know if this is my very best of 2006, though I was pleased with the outcome of this poster of The Punisher. I created it, along with two other designs, for my Final Major Project at University, and it was very well received, which was nice.
