Your Top Movies of 2006

The only ones I've seen so far have been V For Vendetta, The Da Vinci Code, and X3. I'd list them right in that order in terms of quality.

X3
Kiss Kiss Bang Bang (came out last year, I know, but I've only seen it this year...)

Da Vinci Code

I haven't seen many '06 movies other than X3 or DVC...

Inside man
The New World (it came out here in January so it counts)
Over the Hedge
V for Vendetta and Davinci Code(even though they weren't that great, they were still interesting)

Everything else has either been forgettable or bad. I haven't actually seen that many movies this year so far.

So far of what I've seen, These are my faves:

Over the Hedge
X3
V for Vendetta
Inside Man
Nanny McPhee

Underworld Evolution
X3
V for Vendetta
Da Vinic Code
I can't remeber anymore i've seen lol.

I'll add Silent Hill as well.

So far...Best stuff doesn't come out till Nov/Dec.

V for Vendetta
MatchPoint (opened on Dec 25th 2005,nationwide Jan 20th 06)
X-Men 3

Anyone has seen fewer than ten 2006 movies isn't qualified to answer this question, myself included.

The Ice Age 2
X-3
The DaVinci Code

(I include these last two even though I had a bit of disapointment with them.)

Just watched Underworld :Evolution...it was ok. Nice to look at.

Mediocre, not a movie I see myself returning to... So far I've seen 3 memorable movies this year and two of those don't introduce anything new, there just solid movies.

Well, it's been quite poor year so far. But I've seen only 10 2006 movies. 11 if V for Vendetta counts. (It premiered on some festival at December 2005 so it's practically 2005 movie.)

1. Underworld: Evolution

And the rest, well, dunno...

The Da Vinci Code, M:i:III and The Omen were okay.
Bandidas was nice.
Ultraviolet, X3 and Kummelin Jackpot were crap.
Basic Instinct 2 and Ultimate Avengers weren't totally crap, but they weren't really good ones neither. Maybe the "nice" slot.
Now I've seen one movie more, so:

1. U:E
2. Lucky Number Slevin

Number 10 technically was released last year, but I consider it 2006 since it was only in film festivals and such last year.

10 Tristram Shandy: A Cock & Bull Story
9 Nacho Libre
8 Inside Man
7 United 93
6 V for Vendetta
5 A Scanner Darkly
4 Cars
3 Superman Returns
2 Kingdom of Heaven: Director's Cut
1 Silent Hill

1. Pirates of the Carribbean: Dead Man's Chest
2. Superman Returns
3. V for Vendetta
4. Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children
5. M:I:III

My list, thus they're all I've seen...

SILENT HILL......April 21
THE DA VINCI CODE........May 19
X-MEN 3......May 26
CARS........June 9
SUPERMAN RETURNS......June 30
PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN......July 7

1. Superman Returns/POTC 2(Tie)
2. V For Vendetta
3. The Da Vinci Code
4. Silent Hill
5. Mission Impossible 3
6. The Hills Have Eyes

1. POTC2
2. Superman Returns
3. Cars
4. Da Vinci Code
5. X3

I've yet to see most movies from this year, but the ones I'm looking forward to the most are V for Vendetta, Lucky Number Slevin, Inside Man and Thank You for Smoking.
