Transformers YOUR BIGGEST WTF moments, including Plotholes, etc, etc of the TF movie THREAD!

That Lady dropped Donut(?) on the floor, and ate it... WTF?

That's Gross and she eat it?

I'm just curious what they are and what they taste like.

Ofcourse, wiki has all the answers. Sounds like a Twinkie.

Yeah SM3 bothered us that much, and yes there were similar problems, but like i said before, this is the first time TF has been brought to the big screen, so as with X Men 1 and Blade 1, there's bound to be mistakes. Those mistakes were all improved on with those movies sequels. Spiderman had 2 movies prior to it, so they knew what worked, and what didn't -Spiderman 2 (awesome) proved this, yet the get totally sloppy, throw the old formula out the window...and the result is Spiderman 3.

I really think the SM3 makers faultered that movie because of OVER CONFIDENCE. They had the world hooked on the franchise, so they thought they could throw us anything and we'd bite. It's kinda like when your dating; your on your best behaviour and wanna look your best whie your courting the other person, but as soon as you get them emotionally hooked, you let yourself go because you figure they'll stick around anyway. That's what the Raimi figured with Spiderman 3, shame on him.

as much as I don't wish to talk about Spider man 3 anymore, this is a good point.

However, it is something almost every third movie suffers from. Third movies are never the best (at least when they are the end to a trilogy) and usually just suck. Which is funny because for some reason in Hollywood people are obsessed with "trilogies". Three is not a magic number people. Especially comic book movies. If anything, this trend is what I find fustrating. Compared to other third movies, I think Spider man 3 is actually decent. Easily the worst of the three, but like Return of the Jedi, which wasn't really universally liked at the time, it is a fine addition. Not everyone hates the movie.

and as far as throwing the old formula at the window. Look at Shrek the Third, they didn't try to do anything new and that was really mediocre. It's nice to have a little change up. It was just a little over ambitious.

what I really don't get though is why people keep comparing Transformers to Spider man 3. They came out two months apart and have little in common. Since it is a first movie, why not compare it to other first movies. Or can people not think back that far.

I already got into my SM3 talk earlier in the forum. I'm too lazy to restate my argument, just. First live action transformers no others like it.

DarthCyclopsRLZ. About scorponok going after the soldiers. This may be a stupid idea but maybe Decepticons just like killing things.

This should tell you what you want to know...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ding_Dong

"The company marketed the snacks on the East Coast as Big Wheels, to avoid confusion with the Ring Ding, a similar (and pre-existing) treat by Drake's Cakes. The names were consolidated in 1987, when a short-lived merger of Drake's with Hostess' parent company (then Continental Baking Company) briefly resolved the Ring Ding/Ding Dong conflict."

So King Ding Don was embroiled in a Ring Ding/Ding Dong conflict like some bad sing-along between ding-a-lings. :wow: Ok. It's official. I'll never understand American naming conventions.

I think I've only had a Ding Dong once...That was years ago..I've forgotten what they taste like.

I've been more into Ho-Ho's... :p (no wordplay intended)

Damn it I didn't read the article. I'm out of the loop of cool. I

People were talking about why the Air Force One stewdardess would eat a Ding-dong that fell on the floor...

I like how we are discussing Ding Dongs

Well that was a pretty big WTF moment for much of the world:

President asks for something called a "ding dong".
Audience collectively goes, "A what? WTF's a ding dong?"

Well they said doughnut then we had to explain what a Ding-dong was. Oh and why was GW(we assume georgie dubya) really relaxed about the conflicts going on. Well I suppose that has a ring of truth to it.

Maybe he should've said "Twinkie", but I guess "Ding Dong" sounds funnier with a southern American accent...
