Your bookshelf

I can never finish BOOK books :( That's my problem. And it'll be a perfectly great book, but I just can't finish it for the life of me. I currently have 5 or 6 books pending, including:

*Ric Flair: To Be The Man (AB)
*If Chins Could Kill (Bruce Campbell AB)
*Game of Shadows
*Romans
*The Fountain
...and some others I'm sure. :(

Top shelf has trades with "Who is the black panther?" Kingdom Come, and Unintended consequences prominently shown so when people enter my home they know i read comics and am proud if it.
Next shelf is the african american history section, books like Last Speeches of Malcolm X, The Classic slaves narratives, Great Speeches by african americans, and The Audacity of Hope.
Next shelf is where my wife keeps her books, i have no idea what's there, i think there is a sex and the city episode guide and some titles by Toni Morrison. Last shelf, we have board games and my chess set. And on the floor in front of the book shelf is where my daughter keeps her books.

I love all kinds of subject matter but I am currently reading The Purpose Driven Life. It's a amazing book. Makes you feel all warm and fuzzy.

The last book I read before that is The Davinci Code, that was a really intense fun book. Sucks you in.
:hyper:

Most of my stuff is Sci Fi. I have 26 Star Wars books, not counting guides and comics.

Tons of Star Wars novels, some "serious literature" (Catcher in the Rye, Shakespeare, War and Peace, etc.), and a bunch of stuff by ancient Greek and Roman authors.

As for my comics self, I've got a pretty good cross section of the major DC and Marvel books and characters. Plenty of Batman and classic X-Men and the like.

I just finished reading Batman: No Man's Land (fantastic book), and just started on Casino Royale, which is pretty good as well.

I'm an avid reader, married to an avid reader. We have two full bookshelves with over 350 books. I didn't realize we had so many.:wow:

Tons of Fantasy/Sci Fi, Classics (Jane Eyre, The Good Earth), biographies, graphic novels, etc. Everything from Dave Barry to Neil Gaiman to Stephen King; which no bookshelf should be without.

i have those books buy the guy who does Dilbert they're rather good.
i used to read alot of scifi but now it's jsut the odd Dr Who book
parody books, you can;t beat a good parody
i have ever book by the almighty Clarkson
i also have a few biographies, Nic Cage, Frank Skinner, etc

i keep looking for books i've heard about, like Inidana Jones ones and Ghostbusters ones but i can;t find them and it sucks:(
