I don't use my buddy list, but I do have have two users on my ignore list --BlackHardKnight because of his avatars and JAL because I couldn't take all the stoopid Alba pics.

Buddy lists are better for mass PM mailings. It allows you to click on several users at once.

It could be done,but then you are taking a risk,which may result in saying stuff that you'll get into trouble for. You could be scrolling down and assume that a certain poster's post is over only to find out that there is more which you unintentionally end up reading. And even though I sometimes tend to takes risks,it doesn't actually mean that I am a fan of taking risks.
