Trust me it wasn't my attention span that was the problem it was that piece of crap for a movie...

I wanted to put King Kong in early and it just ended up here. I thought both were good enough to put in so i can move on to other match ups that really will be better ones. Pirates ha dto be put in but a few of my other that are next it would not make it. So i figured King Kong would be good enough to give it a fight. I for one like long movies.I agree that they don't belong together, though that's hardly the reason.![]()

No question i liked both for opposite reasons. Not equally but i thaught King Kong was just beautiful visually as L.O.T.R's was. But so wasn't Pirates. I get what you mean by you don't know. But every time if its 2 movies i'll always vote for them L.O.T.R and The Pirate movies.^I dunno.![]()
i totally agree with this. i loved Depp and Rush and Knightley is uber hot, bu the rest was just avg action movie. King Kong is much betterI'd trust you if it weren't for your short attention span.
Kong had the most moving relationship I've ever seen between two characters, the most powerful lead actress performance I've ever seen, easily one of the greatest fights in cinematic history that singlehandedly blows away all of the action in Pirates, a terrific message about the danger of human ignorance and the beauty of understanding between two things that are entirely different...
Pirates had Depp and Rush, which were cool...everything else was bland as hell. The action scenes are one generic, redundant sword-fight after another and the story has no real substance(not that it was aiming for it, but it was drawn out and not especially entertaining for the most part either).
