What is your favourite channel to watch? Which has your favourite selection of original programming?

FX, for Always Sunny, Louie, The League, Wilfred, and the brilliant-but-cancelled Terriers. I don't know if this counts as premium cable, but USA's one of my favorites. I love Monk, Psych, and Burn Notice, and they've made other good ones too.

FX. Most definitely.

I have to say Showtime.
Dexter
Shameless
Weeds
United States of Tara
Brotherhood
Californication
The L Word
The Tudors
Nurse Jackie

In the end I love all the Cable Networks but Showtime is great. AMC would be second then HBO and after that FX.

I have to vote for HBO because of Game of Thrones and Curb Your Enthusiasm.

I'm confused by this poll. I want to vote "other," for USA but the poll asks about premium networks. But then AMC and FX are in the poll, they are not premium networks. Premium networks are HBO, Showtime, Cinemax, Starz, etc. So is this poll for premium networks only (in which case my answer is HBO) or any cable network?

So hard! I guess it would be between AMC, Showtime, or Starz.

Here's some of what I watch -

TNT
Falling Skies
Memphis Beat
Hawthorne
Rizzoli and Isles

USA
Covert Affairs
Burn Notice

SYFY
Warehouse 13
Eureka
Sanctuary

Just pick your favourite cable network and list the reasons why. Don't let one semantic slip confuse you.

All of them. There isn't any specific channel that I watch more than the others. I think I watch at least 2 shows across all the channels listed in the poll plus some others that aren't mentioned like USA and TNT.

My vote is for HBO. Great quality of their shows.

This is my ranking of the snows I watch from each network.

FOX
1. Glee
2. Family Guy
3. Fringe
4. House

CBS
1. How I Met Your Mother
2. The Mentalist
3. The Big Bang Theory
4. Two and a Half-Men
5. Harry's Law

AMC
1. Mad Men
2. Breaking Bad
3. The Walking Dead
4. The Killing (currently watched only the pilot)

SHOWTIME
1. Dexter
2. Shameless
3. Californication

HBO
1. Game of Thrones
2. Boardwalk Empire
3. True Blood

NBC
1. 30 Rock
2. Psych

I watch single shows from ABC, CW and TNT so I can't rank them.

Well I love HBO for Entourage and True Blood. Showtime's good for Dexter.

I'm a huge fan of USA though since I love suits and wwe.

TNT has been getting better over the last few years as well with Franklin & Bash.

I used to love Nip/Tuck on FX and Archer is awesome.

I think I will start loving FX again when American Horror Story debuts in October.

1) HBO (Boardwalk, True Blood, Game of Thrones, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Entourage)
2) Cartoon Network (Boondocks, Venture Bros, Thundercats, Young Justice)
3) Comedy Central (South Park, Futurama, Ugly American)
4) FX (Louie, Always Sunny, Archer)
5) Fox (Family Guy, American Dad, Cleveland Show)

F/X, that network is great, Rescue Me, Sons of Anarchy, Archer, Always Sunny and the League, also their "retired" show The Shield which was so much better than the highly overrated Sopranos

AMC is good too, love Breaking Bad and The Walking Dead. However The Killing wasn't that great and I think Mad Men gets a little too much praise and is coasting off that praise.

For the record I voted HBO. Hard to beat Deadwood, Rome, Six Feet Under, Game of Thrones, Boardwalk Empire, The Sopranos, Band of Brothers etc.
