Mount Rushmore lists are a lot easier for say a sports team that's never been that good.

When you do something for say the Yankees, you're going to have to leave someone out. I would put Ryan Reynolds in a Top 10 or even higher, but a Top 4 he misses out.

I agree that Bale's Batman is the most interchangeable one cause how many great superheroes we have like Chris Evans's Captain America.

Given the 'iconic' feel of the subject matter, I automatically eliminated any character that only appeared once (except for Ledger's joker, because he more than earned his iconic status), which cut out one of my favorite heroes (Alan Cummings' Nightcrawler) and most of my favorite villains, because they don't seem to stick around often. It also cut out Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn for now, but I'm very looking forward to seeing more of her even though I honestly couldn't say at the moment which list I'd even potentially consider her for.
