4.) The Nice Guys
3.) Suicide Squad
2.) Batman v Superman
1.) Captain America: Civil War

2016 shouldn't but peoples extreme expectations will.

Point. I can see haters coming out of the woodwork already. It's bound to happen. One of the reasons is traditionalists. But a big one will be general audiences, me thinks. I feel when a movie gets too overhyped its popularity will grow to pouring out of its demographic, getting people that wouldn't like this stuff to watch it and go, "That was silly." Whether it be scifi or fantastical in some way, someone will say that it is silly. Sort of like the flipside of Oscar bait movies being cheese at times and making you want to roll your eyes so far back that you can see your brain sighing.

In the past I would only have about 5-6 movies a year that I wanted to see. Over the last few years there have been more and more movies I wanted to see. I think this year and last year where really good years. Next year will most likely have like the most movies I have ever wanted to see in a year has 2016 is loaded but I got both Jurassic world and star wars this year so just those 2 made it great. Any way here are the movies I want to see but I don't really have a top 10 right now.

Going to see

Deadpool
Batman vs Superman
Zootopia
Ratchet and clank
Xmen Apocalypse
Captain America civil war
Ice age collision course
Suicide squad- Mostly want to see it because of will smith

May see

Kang fu panda 3- I never saw the first 2 had no interest in them but I thought from previews that it looks good.
Jungle book- I liked the 90's one had no idea that there was also like a 70 live action one has while.
Tmnt out of the shadows- None of the TMNT movies are really good but I grow up with them. I don't understand the hate for the 2014 one it was the best one we have had.
Doctor strange- We have yet to see a preview of this so I don't really know any thing about this movie.
Rouge one a star wars story- I love star wars but this is a spin off and I really have no idea what it is about. Maybe once a trailer comes out I will want to see it. So really who knows what I will think about it.
The legend of Tarzan- I had no idea they where even making this in till like a week or so ago when the trailer came out
jimagi- I don't think this is a good idea to remake but maybe it will surprisingly be good.
So 8 for sure movies and 7 maybe movies

Variety is the spice of life. Don't put all your eggs in one basket so to speak.

10. Star Trek: Beyond

Everything is definitely subject to change. These are my most anticipated, but there's always a few surprised and disappointments along the way.

1) Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice - I've never been more stoked to see a film in my entire life; Zack Snyder is truly a visionary and a master filmmaker of his time (300, Watchmen, and MoS are all masterworks to me)
2) Captain America: Civil War - I can't wait to see how this story is brought to life by the Russo Brothers*
3) X-Men: Apocalypse - see comments below**
4) Star Trek: Beyond - love the Abrams' reboots (I can forgive their flaws), and its great with me that Beyond seems to focus heavily on adventure and character chemistry--b/c that's exactly what I've always loved most about the TOS TV series to begin with (I really could care less if it makes social commentary)
5) Dr. Strange - this thing should be a wild trip--and what a cast!
6) Rogue One: A Star Wars Story - I'm way more of a Star Trek fan than Star Wars fan, but TFA was pretty damn awesome, so I expect this film to keep all that great momentum going
7) Independence Day 2: despite Will Smith not returning I have high hopes that this should be great fun
8) Suicide Squad - maybe it's because I don't know these characters (except for the Joker), but I haven't felt any connection at all to this yet--I hope that I'll be blown away and love it, b/c I do want to be entertained
9) Deadpool - same thing as above for SS--I don't know the character, and nothing I've seen in the trailers has gotten me psyched to see it; again, here too hoping that it will blow me away, though
10) Tarzan (reboot) - the Christopher Lambert version was strangely intriguing and if this film runs with that basic approach successfully it has potential to be good in an offbeat way
11) Prometheus 2 - I have a lot of criticisms of Prometheus but it was a feast visually, and I really liked Noomi Rapace and Michael Fassbender in it, so I want to see the Alien series prequel story continue
12) Gambit - I don't know the character, but its a CBM that many fans seem very excited to see, so I'm hoping I'll like it as much as everyone seems to be looking forward to it

* I'm eager to see Civil War, and expect it to be great. But the one trailer we have thus far didn't really give me any goosebumps. That said, though, it looks like it may be a surprisingly personal story about relationships within the Avengers.

** I think the Apocalypse trailer is fantastic! Oscar Isaac sounds (literally, judging from his voice narration) like he will be incredible as the titular character. I love the younger X-Men reboot cast, and James McAvoy in particular looks like he will continue his excellent work as Charles. I'm not familiar with the story, but I'm definitely going to purchase the comic book series about it.

1) Batman v Superman: DOJ
2) Star Trek
3) Suicide Squad
4) X-Men
5) Dr. Strange
6) Independence Day
7) The witch
8) Triple 9
9) Magnificent seven
10) Warcraft

10-Star Trek: Beyond
The first trailer was very weird, but I like what JJ Abrahams has done with this franchise. Hopefully the streak will continue with this upcoming film. The arrival of Idris Elba will only elevate the film.

9- Deadpool
I've never been a fan of Deadpool. His humour never did it for me, but I'm eager to see how Ryan Reynolds will perform in this role and the trailers were good.

8- Dr Strange
This film gives Marvel the opportunity to step out of their comfort zone. Stephen Strange is a very intriguing character with more depth than your average superhero. Benedict Cumberbatch is one of the best actors in Hollywood at the moment. This will be Marvel's first film focused on Magic.

7- The Legend Of Tarzan
I was pleasantly surprised by the first trailer, I've always like the Tarzan myth.
This will be Alexander Skarsgård's first major role in a blockbuster but he'll be surrounded by a good cast.
The only thing that concerns me is the budget you don't need 180 million budget for a Tarzan film. But it's Hollywood after all.

6- X-Men: Apocalypse
Days Of Future past is my favourite X-Men film. Fassbender, Isaac, McAvoy, Lawrence. These three are known

5- Captain America: Civil War
With Winter Soldier being my favourite Marvel Studios film, I was always going to anticipate the next instalment of the Captain America films. This story will presumably serve as the resolution to Steve Rogers' story.
This film will have a lot going on with the introduction of the new Spiderman, Black Panther and the new Avengers. If you're a comicbook fan like I am you're going to put this film in your top 5.

4- Assassin'S Creed
The Assassin'S Creed Series are in my opinion one of the finest video games to have ever been released. The historical fiction, The dynamic between the Assassins and Knight Templars, the legacy, their descendants (Ezio, Altahir, Connor etc). So many opportunities to tell a good story.
With the help of Fassbender and Cotillard, two Oscar calibre actors, Assassin creed might become the first video-game film to obtain both critical acclaim and boxoffice success. More so than Warcraft, this film needs to succeed.

3- Suicide Squad
This will be the first comicbookfilm where the crowd might have to root for the villains; psychopaths, murderers, a cannibal..you get the drift. This is an unconventional but yet smart way for WB/DC to introduce their main villains. And if they stay true to the concept of Task Force X: Several of them won't survive the end of the film. The studio managed to assemble a great cast for such an unknown property (Tom Hardy had to leave do a scheduling conflict).

In addition, we get the first appearance of Harley Quinn in live action and of course our new Joker played by Jared Leto. We don't know how big his role will be but somewhere along the way he will encounter Batman

2- Rogue One: A Star Wars Story
After the Force Awakens I'm really looking forward to see how this film will expand the Star War Universe. The cast looks great and the concepts of the film is interesting and something we haven't seen in previous Star Wars films.
This film will give the opportunity to the director (Gareth Edwards) operate with more freedom than this counterparts.
1- Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice

Do I really need to explain why?

I know it's about opinion, but I just don't understand how people can put Rogue One so high on their list..... considering when we know little about the movie, and we haven't even seen a trailer to it, and it's only a spin-off to Star Wars.

Its propbably a combination of TFA being pretty massive and getting people back into the SW franchise as a whole, coupled with a darker tone and more adult orientated pitch that may have people anticipating it greatly despite having little/no actual footage or material on it yet.

Based on concept, just like before we had seen the Civil War trailer a few weeks ago it was still easily top 3 for me. Or like as soon as they announced Batman v Superman it was top 3.

1. BvS - The trinity together on the silver screen for the first time ever. Epic

2. Suicide Squad - Bad guys pretending to be heroes with an all star cast. What more can you ask for?

3. CA: Civil War - Since Winter Solider is my favorite Marvel film so far I have to put the sequel at number 3. BP and Spidey are a plus

4. Deadpool - TBH I thought this movie was going to be horrible but the trailers/ TV Spots are proving me wrong so far and it's exceeding my expectations. Helps that it's rated R too.

5. Bourne 5 - Damon and Greengrass are back

6. Assassins Creed - Have a feeling that this will be the best video game adaptation to date

7. Independence Day 2 - The first was one of my favorite movies growing up, I still have the VHS lol

8. Tarzan - Trailer sold me

9. Jack Reacher 2 - Have to get my Tom Cruise fix and I liked the first one

10. X-Men: Apocalypse - So I was really debating putting this on the list. I didn't really like anything I saw in the trailer, especially Apocalypse but I thought DOFP was great so I still have hope.

Baby Driver (Edgar Wright)
Three Bilboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri (Martin McDonagh- In Bruges, Seven Psychopaths)
Annihilation (Alex Garland - Ex Machina)

Triple 9 (I had, for some unknown reason, assumed it was to be a stupid comedy, saw the trailer yesterday. Looks damn good. Great cast.) replacing Star Trek.
