Forgot about Slow West, 20th Century Women, Room, The End of the Tour, The Spectacular Now and Spring Breakers; all of those were great movies. A top 5 list just doesn't suffice. I'm not a fan of these arbitrary number lists.

A24 is my new favorite studio (along with Annapurna). It's crazy to think they've only been around for five years. Unfortunately, last year was rather weak for them. Hopefully 2018 will be better with Hereditary, Under the Silver Lake and How to Talk to Girls at Parties.

I still need to see The Florida Project and Lady Bird.

They're the new Focus before Focus got absorbed into Universal. They still have good movies but much fewer now than back in the 2000's. More selective.

They're the Annapurna that is able to distribute their films.

Yeah, I miss when Focus was good. Can't remember the last film of their's I really enjoyed.

Quickly checks wikipedia... I guess not that long ago with Phantom Thread (which I think of as lesser PTA). Mr. Turner, Dallas Buyers Club & Moonrise Kingdom were also quite good, but now several years old. Their days of multiple hits every year seems to be over. And I had no idea they co-produced Fifty Shades of Grey.
