I love Cobra! I never hear anyone talk about that movie. Love Commando too. Man I wish we had movies like this nowadays lol. I also like Lone Wolf McQuade, but I don't think it has as much action as some of the ones already mentioned, but it's a good 80's action flick.

Cobra seems most infamous for actually being the original script (by Stallone) for Beverley Hills Cop but was deemed too dark and became a separate Stallone movie as he had adapted the book. In truth it's a cool action flick and features some great action sequences directed by George P. Cosmatos who directed First Blood Part II and Tombstone.

Dolph Lundgren 1990 movie Dark Angel aka I Come In Peace is the very definition of crazy cheese 80s action films

The trailer is like looking inside Michael Bay's head in the 1980s

• Pointless insane explosions
• shoot outs and car chases
• cheesy lines ALIEN : "I COME IN PEACE"
  DOLPH "...AND YOU GO IN PIECES!"
• ridiculous high concepts that studio execs greenlighted because they were high on coke (Alien villain who injects people with heroin and shoots CD's at people)
• cliche maverick cop 'Jack Kane' who atleast five characters will say is crazy at various points in the movie.
• Bad special effects and bad acting

The film is a guilty pleasure.
