Nothing matches the Hulk vs. Abomination fight scene. That was just amazing.

Rambo was probably the best action movie of 2008. That ending was sick!

The Dark Knight semi chase sequence was probably the next best action scene.

1) Rambo vs. the entire Burmese Army. By a country mile. It puts hair on your balls. One of the best combat scenes ever.

2) Hulk vs. Emil Blonsky at the Campus

3) Iron Man vs. Iron Monger.

4) Two terroist jeeps vs. Leo's jeep and da choppah. Body of Lies.

5) BPRD vs. The Golden Army.

RockNRolla - The Wild Bunch V.S. The Invincible Russians.
An embarrasingly slow chase between a couple of beat-up British gangsters and some invincible Russian hitmen. They're all completely ****ed up because of a car crash, but that doesn't stop them. Great, inventive visuals.

The Dark Knight - The attack on the convoy.
Obviously. Nothing comes quite close. I love the whole slightly odd pace of the scene, the speed of heavy vehicles in motion. The absence of music is great aswell, just engines roaring and rubber peeling.

Quantum of Solace - Siena foot chase.
I loved that bit with the swinging cranes. Teriffic choreography.

I personally really liked the opening action sequence in Tropic Thunder.

Iron Man vs. the F-22's was great as well (although it might be more because of Stark and Rhodey's conversation, than the actual action)

Hulk vs. Blonsky on the campus, only because when I saw that I thought, holy $#!t! That's how Capt. America needs to move!

I'm amazed at the love for The Dark Knight's action sequences over...Pretty much any other sequence in a summer film that came out this year.
