Action sequence of the year 2008 - Nomination thread

I wouldn't dare nominate anything from TDK. Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge Batman fan and loved the film, but it doesn't scream action in anyway, and I feel the editing of the whole the scene after the batpod emerges was horrible.

Come to think of it, of the nearly 20 films I've seen in the theaters this year, I can't really think of anything that had a good action sequence aside from QoS and Eagle Eye.

Well I saw that movie and there was nothing great about it's action.

In fact I thought that movie was a turd, which was sad b/c I very much enjoyed the first film.

I don't know Quantom had some cool scenes like the one I mentioned before but they did the shaky camera thing alot like in the Bourne movies. I don't like that. I can't tell what's going on.

I think TDK had great action scenes a big improvement from BB on the hand to hand combat stuff.

Just finished it (Sorry but wasnt paying for a ticket to that crap)

I give it props for being authentic but a lot of it was still kinda hard to see at times. Stage 1 race and the Dreadnaut scenes would make good additions to a list of nominees
