Not watching this trailer. Saw a few images from it on Twitter that already seem to spoil too much.

I never quite understood this criticism: people DO stupid **** all the time. Especially in difficult and horrendous situations.

I can excuse the protagonist staying at an Airbnb with a complete stranger in a dodgy neighbourhood because she had nowhere to go and was probably tired from her trip. She could have slept in her car I suppose but gotta advance the plot right?

Bill Skarsgård's character had no excuse to go check out the murder-rape bedroom when the person he's sharing the Airbnb with got out of it in panic and begged him not to go in there.

The measuring tape scene was a great facepalm moment. It did get a good laugh from me, though.
