You're probably the only one who thinks that. Weapons, Sinners, 28 Years Later, Final Destination: Bloodlines, Together, Companion, and The Long Walk have all made 2025 a good year for the genre.prob best horror movie of year. Wasn’t amazing but hasn’t been a great year for horror
Let’s not forget the 2016 GG winner in this category, that rip roaring laugh fest, The Martian.Nominating it as a comedy/musical would be absolutely deranged.
So yeah, the Globes would probably do that.
I need to get around to those. I’ve watched weapons, sinners, clown in cornfield, dangerous animals, monkey, wolfman, him, to name a fewYou're probably the only one who thinks that. Yeah, you should check those out before making such claims.I need to get around to those. I’ve watched weapons, sinners, clown in cornfield, dangerous animals, monkey, wolfman, him, to name a few
I am absolutely down for an Aunt Gladys prequel.
Same, she's an intriguing character and just really shows up in Weapons out of nowhere. Definitely more invested in a prequel focusing on her than any sequel.

I feel like the third act already did that.I feel an origin film would just ruin the mystique of what made Aunt Gladys so creepy, since do we really need an explanation? But I'd like to be proven wrong.

Agreed. Took so long to get going, but that last half hour was crazy. The first hour and 40 minutes was definitely worth it for the last 10.
Super onboard for a prequel.
Simple explanation: All those years of caretaking a baseball field and ghosts in Iowa took their toll.I feel an origin film would just ruin the mystique of what made Aunt Gladys so creepy, since do we really need an explanation? But I'd like to be proven wrong.
