It's a valid concern and one I share even though I'll 100% watch it because I love Weapons and I'm on board with Cregger. I think sometimes keeping things mysterious help make it feel special. I know as a kid I was a lot more excited about the xenomorphs just theorizing with myself and friends about their origins, than I was as an adult being fed their backstory through prequels and what not.

Watched this again earlier, holds up really well upon re-watch apart from getting a bit slow in the 2nd half. Gladys is a horrific character and such a good villain. Great movie overall.

I liked it. It was refreshingly different. I didn't have it all figured out early like I often do. I did find it more mysterious than scary. Julia Garner was amazing as usual. I got a kick out of the Justin Long cameo, hadn't seen him in forever.

It seems every house that had a kid had them, so I’m sure their neighbors all across town would have. Rich neighborhood too.
