Shazam Zachary Levi Is Shazam

I didn't even know Levi had been cast until I read it in an article regarding something else about the film. I didn't spot any big notice anywhere. Not being familiar with the comics character at all aside from a few guest appearances in issues I've read (and having him on a blanket with other heroes that I used for years as a kid), I can't say 100% that he's appropriate for the role, but I'm a definite fan of his from "Chuck". He was immensely appealing and likable on that show, and was also great in the TV film "Remember Sunday" in which he played a man whose memories kept disappearing after a certain amount of time. Admittedly he may have more of a TV-style presence and acting style, but he should be able to rise to the challenge of a big-screen lead. At least as far as his on-screen attitude and comic ability, I think he may have been a good fit for Flash or an adult Spider-Man . . . aside from his height/stature.

You should give "Chuck" a look. It was probably the last "really good" TV show I can recall. The whole cast was flawless, but Levi was the revelation.

The first 3 seasons are gold...it kind of trails off after that and the finale was awful mostly cause of how they ended the show. They need to make the movie to fix that...

Even with all of that though it is one of my fave shows. Great mix of characters, always super fun and the guest stars were awesome!

They were probably thinking "who gives a ****" since this happens literally every time a superhero gets made. People complain endlessly about set photos and then when the actual movie is released they see it wasn't that big a deal.

I was around when we first got the candids of Black Panther's costume and everyone was whining about how plastic it looked and were saying he looked like a Power Ranger. Now people hold it up as one of the best MCU designs.

At this point I have to assume they're holding off until SDCC or when something like Entertainment Weekly does a feature on it.

I mean, really, we don't even have an official look at the Aquaman suit for his movie. We have a shirtless shot and some paparazzi pics of something that may or may not be the look Momoa wears for the whole film.
