Such a shortsighted move on Snyder’s part with that one. Luckily it looks like DC might be trying to effectively ignore all the elements that haven’t worked for them in the past

I think if they do a MOS2 it should effectively be a reboot whilst retaining Cavill. I don’t think anyone would be mad about it.

Keep Cavill, Adams and maybe Fishburne. Scrap Eisenberg, and don’t bring back Lane (I personally like her in the role but the characterization of Ma Kent has been so perfect polarizing, we might as well avoid it). Introduce Jimmy, Maggie Sawyer and either Brainiac or Metallo.

Definitely cut Amy Adams loose. Nothing against her, she's a very talented actress, but she ain't Lois Lane. Not to me.

There was something about Meloni's character in Man of Steel. I was totally invested in him even though he was just a supporting character who wasn't even a superpowered guy.
