Just think about how many musicians have acted. Will Smith, Mark Wahlberg, Jennifer Hudson, David Bowie, Dwight Yoakam, Ice Cube, Flea from the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Meat Loaf, Randy Travis- hell even Mickey Dolenz from The Beach Boys. Some of them have been very iffy(like Travis), others like Ice Cube and Flea are alright and then some like Will Smith and Mark Wahlberg have been quite good.

I'm not overjoyed by this rumor but to come a little to Fergies defence.She does have a fair amount of acting experience much more than i thought(unlike a lot of the singers/rappers-turned-actors nowadays).She's been acting since she was a kid plus she can boast a few big screen credits such as Poseidon and Tarantino's upcoming Grindhouse.

Apart from The Man Who Fell To Earth (in which he basically played himself), he's not really done anything of note. He wasn't great in The Prestige.

Actually he go more aclaim for his acting in the the stage production of "the Elephant man" from 1980 to 1981 which is what caught a lot of attention to Hollywood's directors.

And I always thought a younger David bowie woudl be a great Joker in a Batman movie.

As for James Gandolfini: it's a little cliché, but there's no denying that he's awesome. He's always been superb in The Sopranos and his name has been brought up before for Bullock, so I'd go with it for sure.
