🇷🇺🇺🇦 Discussion: Relations with Russia and the war in Ukraine

I don't want Russia to win. It's not fair.:(

Russia was always going to win this war, it has a stronger military than NATO, a stronger manufacturing base, and more political will. The only way out was a negotiated peace, but NATO ordered Zelensky to keep fighting.

Meanwhile, the US Senate 's new aid package for Israel, Ukraine and Taiwan included 61 billion for Ukraine, more than the combined budgets of the U.S. Department of Labor, Environmental Protection Agency, National Science Foundation, and the Women, Infant, and Children nutrition program.

Heck if the money was actually invested in those programs might actually be strong enough to fight Russia in 15 years. But no, the corporate donors want their goodies now.

ABC News said:
Two sources familiar with deliberations on Capitol Hill said the intelligence has to do with Russia wanting to put a nuclear weapon into space. This is not to drop a nuclear weapon onto Earth but rather to possibly use against satellites.

Oh I remember how Russia was supposed to take over Ukraine after only a week.

Putins military is so broke they have to steal from dissenters to fund it, lol.

Putin said that he was disappointed that Tucker Carlson didn't ask more challenging questions (Putin enjoys debate) but it was still a good interview because it's been watched by a lot of people.

He said that Carlson has a good attention span for a Western journalist, but he's worried that the CIA will assassinate him.

Julian Assange, Edward Snowden say hello.

Also US ally Israel has killed hundreds of journalists in Gaza, and US ally Ukraine keeps a web site with a kill list of journalists, who get crossed out when they're dead.

But Putin directly murders political dissidents all the time.

Sounds like he's afraid of karma.

Another victim of the Putin dictatorship.

Obviously Putin despite his protestations can’t actually handle criticism hence bringing in Tucker to wash him.
