🏀 NBA: Let’s Get Hoop’d

Jokic just shot putting super 3's now lol. that shot was crazy

So, I've looked over the standings in the west and if the Lakers can win 2 of their last 4 games (thunder, Mavericks, Rockets, and Trailblazers), they've locked up the #3 spot in the west as they are up 2 games in the lost column from teams 4-8 and have the tiebreaker on all of them. Either they are division champs or they own the regular season head to head matchups with the teams in their division.

If they win just 1 game, one of the other teams would have to sweep all of their remaining games to knock them into the #4 spot. The Warriors would have the best shot as they have a very easy schedule in front of them (Suns, Spurs, Blazers, and Clippers). The Clips are really the only decent team left on their schedule.

EDIT: I meant to add......Man, there's a half game difference between the #4 seed and the #8 seed in the Western Conference.....whew......those teams are going to be SCRAMBLING. LOL

Oh man......it is RAINING 3s in OKC. 43 all at the end of the 1st qtr and the D isn't half bad.....

The #4-7 teams in the West are all tied. LOL

I had a feeling going in that something like this was going to happen. If the Lakers beat either Houston or Portland, they are the #3 seed. How the Warriors went out and lost to the Spurs with this much on the line baffles me.

Now that the Lakers have clinched the 3 seed and can't move up, I don't see any way they use their starters much. LeBron also tweaked his groin, so they're going to be extra careful with him. He'll have about a week off before their first playoff game.

The Warriors/Clippers game is basically going to determine just about everything else in the west.

i really enjoyed the Pistons/Knicks series. Kinda sad to see it end

Nuggets and Clips has been pretty fun to watch too

I’m not trying to troll here. (Or maybe I am) But I have to ask: is there a more overrated player in the NBA than Jason Tatum? People act like he’s a top 3 player in the league, but I’d say that he might be the third best player on the Celtics.
With the exception of the coast to coast dunk last night, he was painful to watch. And even that dunk was mostly due to an amazing (moving) screen by White.

he's usually pretty solid and i think the NBA wanted him to be the face-of really bad at one point. they might still, i dunno. but he hasn't looked his best against the knicks. i'm not really a fan of either team, but the close games are entertaining

And they have the nerve to give him a damn Superman promo.
