120 GB, Black 360 with HDMI Official

When I get my 360, I probably won't need a 120 gig hard drive for it.

I'd get the custom cases for the console and the controller (maybe the black or probably a chrome), and the hard drive will have the saved games and some Live Arcade games I want.

Hell, on my Xbox I haven't filled up that hard drive.

I was going to get a 360 tomorrow, but I think I'll wait.

all black...$600+...HD player...HDMI port...extra GBs of storage...PS3 anyone?

i'm not saying it's stupid...i'm just saying if you support this, think twice about giving PS3 crap about it's price. ok?

But this is the third version of the 360, and completely optional.

And for about $50, you can essentially get an all-black console case and controller case for the 360, and BOOM an all-black 360.

Or perhaps you like chrome. They have those as well.

But this won't replace what's already on the market with regard to the 360. The other units will still be sold, as well as the additional hd-dvd player, and perhaps the 120 gig hard-drive.

So no, it's not the same.

where can you get these cases for your 360? im in UK so i need a UK site or place. can you put them on yourself?

Once these are released, do you guys think a price-drop could occur for the Core package? I can see them leaving their pricing structure intact for now and after this new version is available, but come Christmas, especially if the Wii is still hot, I'd expect the price to fall.

Yep. Looks official enough to me :

Im just surprised M$ havent said anything about it.

This sku is the biggest ripoff they've done yet.

looks awesome, im defo gonan wait for this version of the console. if it comes out in the uk....

I'm probably just gonna buy the new Hard Drive, but I might consider just buying the new SKU overall.

This sku is the biggest ripoff they've done yet.

It would be a ripoff if they stopped selling the Core and Premium altogether, but this is their third SKU.

Speaking of SKUs, where have the 20 GB PS3's gone

:whatever:

Any one know what the 360 is going for when it comes to trade ins?? I really dont need the Elite, but damn, i want it.

Okay, yeh... I think I may get this version instead. If it becomes available on Amazon.com before my other one ships out, then I'm switching.

No it isn't. Most of the stuff you get with this you will never need.

Headset? Screw chat!
Ethernet cable? The internet is for *****es!
Component and composite cables? Tv is for little children!
HDMI cable INCLUDED? Oh sure, the cable is free, but you gotta buy an HDTV! Scam artists!!
120 gig hard drive? Storage is SOOOOOO passe!
Digital audio-out cable? Ooooh laa laa! Someone sounds fancy! Too fancy for gaming!

There, I saved you the trouble, since you don't seem to be a reasonable person. What accessories will you "never need" that this comes with? Again, this is just another configuration for the 360 new owners can get, kind of like how Sony wanted to give that option to people who didn't give a crap about wifi or memory card readers (of course, that whole thing is slowly being phased out as it is).

How so? Its 80 bucks more for 60 more gigs and HDMI. How is that any worse than 100 bucks more for wifi, 40 gigs, and memory card readers? As well, Microsoft at least has the decency to include an HDMI cable, instead of trying to trick non-savvy consumers into buying a 60 dollar cable. Even then, they're still including component/composite cables. Something that Sony was, again, too cheap to do. I'm sorry, but I didn't spend 600 bucks to view the PS3 in standard definition. If it weren't for an 8 dollar HDMI cable I got off monoprice (which, if it cost me 8 bucks, how much would it honestly have cost Sony to throw in?) I wouldn't be watching Casino Royale or playing any games, because that money would have gone towards cables that SHOULD have been included in the first place.

What the ****?

Headset, Ethernet, component/composite cables all come with the Premium. Most people don't even own HDTV's let alone play their games on. 120GB isn't necessary, I've yet to hear of anyone with a 20GB HDD say they have no more room. IDK what Digital audio-out is but I don't have it and I can play my games still so it's obviously unnecessary.
