I've been to Spain, Britan, Italy, and Germany.

Spain I liked the most, with some of its rural village types.

Italy the least, because they still have a ways to go before women are considered humans out that way.

I didn't know that about Italy.

Could you elaborate no that?

Why do you hate Canada so much? Do you think its healthy to hate or is it just easier than love?

It's the only place where a man will cut line in front of a woman, and nobody asks questions.

Nobody.

Well, in the Western world at least.

Because Canadians aren't French.

The one time I visited, I was corrected on no less my language and habits of being a true and native Frenchborn.

The fact of the matter is, they're from Canada. Speaking a primarily French language and living a French-esque lifestyle doesn't MAKE you French.

That's like saying British are Americans by virtue of speaking the same (albeit slightly different) language, and having similar living conditions.

You just don't tell someone from France how to behave and speak French.

I presume you're talking about Italy? Wow, are they really like that or only in your experience? That's honestly a sad thing if true.

So you hate them cause they claim to be french? Should they speak "Canadian", english or is it okay for them to speak french?

When I visited there for a few days, you could easily see how women aren't exactly regarded as equals.

At the restaurants, males ordered women their food. In lines, I really did see women get cut in, twice. Small stuff. I'm sure the whole country isn't like that. But I won't be going back.

I don't mind them speaking French. What I do mind is them thinking they're the authority on it.

How different is the French spoken in Canada from the type spoken in most of France?

It's actually not all THAT different.

However, like with Mexican Spanish, New Mexican Spanish, and Castile Spanish, there are some differences to acknowledge. This is the same with French, and the few dialects of Canadian French. They just don't match up the same way. I couldn't tell them how to use their language anymore than they could tell me how to use mine, without being wrong.

Sorry to hear about your bad experience and for the women there who have to go through it. Its just a shame cause I've always wanted to visit Italy, France, etc. Guess I won't be going to Italy....i'd end up getting in a fight if I saw that ****.

Did you only go to Quebec, because the rest of Canada is not at all the same?

How do you feel about tex mex food and how lucky you are to be able to get it whenever you want whereas others here in Europe have no decent restaurant serving it?

What wine do you tend to buy there? Do you find red wines from Chile the best quality for price?

By the way, if you like red, try Terrazas de Los Andes from Argentina or even better Cheval des Andes ( a joint venture between Cheval Blanc and terrazas). Have you had any argentinean wine that you have liked?

What is the best wine you ever tasted, and by best, I mean taste wise not price wise?

lefty or righty?

lol I didn't. But I could have added, "When you do get riled up, it takes a considerable effort to do so." In many ways, you're a lot like Comic Chick, which means you're generally patient.

i gladly take any comparisons to ATP, she's a great lady

Yeah, the rest of Canada isn't the same. But there are several dialects of French in Canada. That would be more the confusion, rather than the frustration, would be there. But after Quebec, it isn't happening. I'm sure the rest of Canada is fine.

I don't consider tex mex food a plus. lol
What wine do you tend to buy there? Do you find red wines from Chile the best quality for price?
Here? Generally, I'll buy wines at Trader Joe's, because I'm not especially picky. However, ones from Chile aren't bad at all to buy. They can be a little pricey, but they're very good.

I should try that. But I haven't really tried many Argentiniean wines. I'm more at home with wines I remember from home.
What is the best wine you ever tasted, and by best, I mean taste wise not price wise?
Now THIS is a hard one. I could not honestly say. I've had many spectacular wines in the past.

Damn, I was gonna say a graphic novel. Hmmm... I really don't read any books, to be perfectly honest. Which is odd, as I wanna be a writer. lol
