Just subscribing to this thread so I don't forget. I'll start answering questions in about an hour, after my opthalmalogy class.

SuperFerret, where were you on the night of March 16th, 2009?

Hype Life
When did you join the Hype? I first joined the Hype on January 25th, 2004, under the name of DocStrange516. About four months later, we changed internet companies, so I got a new e-mail address, and on April 2nd, 2004, SuperFerret was unleashed onto the Hype.
What’s your favorite forum? The RPG section, even though I barely have time to participate in the games anymore, it's where most of my Hype friends are. It's kind of my home here, although I typically just click the New Posts link and comment in whatever threads catch my eye.
What brought you here? I honestly don't remember what brought me here.
What made you stay? The people and atmosphere here. I've frequented quite a few forums since I started my internet life, and only the Hype has people that I can honestly consider friends. Also the moderator staff here is exceptionally cool, especially compared to those of other sites, where my typically sarcastic and frequently off-topic posting isn't quite as tolerated.
Who is your Hype Nemesis? I don't really have one. Sure, I've had disagreements with certain posters here and there on different topics, but it's never gotten to the point to being a nemesis. I mean, how can anyone not love me?
Fave smiley(s): :awesome::hellboy::supes: and the always classic :yay:. I also like this one:

What is your Hype Pet Peeve? The three R's: Realism, Reboot and Rated R.
Link us to a thread you really enjoy: http://forums.superherohype.com/showthread.php?t=310342 (even though there hasn't been much action there lately.

Real Life:
How old are you? 25 years old in human years. 25 years old in ferret years.
Where were you born? Brooklyn, New York
What’s your job? I'm in school right now studying to get certified as a veterinary technician. I also work at the school, caring for the animals here.
What kind of vehicle do you drive? A bicycle, I don't have my driver's license yet.
Dream car? One that runs? I'm not a car guy, I honestly don't see the appeal.
What is your greatest regret? This is a hard one. I would regret not coming to this school earlier, but I may not have met some of the great people I know from here if I had. I don't think I have any, it's best to live without them anyway.
What is your greatest achievement? It's not really an achievement of mine alone, but the time that I helped the doctor at the vet clinic I worked at perform a C-section on a cat and had to rub the kittens to stimulate their respirations was hands-down the most amazing thing that I've ever done. I still smile when I think about it.
High school mascot? I have literally no clue.
How do you like your steak? Cooked. I'm not much of a steak guy, I prefer poultry and the various works of culinary art that come from pigs. Mmmm... bacon...
What’s a bad habit of yours? Feel free to mention more if you’d like: I bite my nails.
Favorite Place to Eat? This little Japanese restaurant in Brooklyn. It's called Shiki, at the intersection of New Utrecht Avenue and 86th Street for those who want to go. I'll probably be going there during the Christmas break with my friends when I go back to Brooklyn.
How many tattoos do you have? None, yet.

Misc
If you could live in any fictional universe, what would it be, and why? Any one that would let me have superpowers.
If you could be present for any historical event, what? Why? The extinction of the dinosaurs, for my own curiosity. I'd be able to come back unharmed though, right?
Name three people, living or dead, you would want to have dinner with? Stan Lee, Weird Al Yankovic and Gary Gygax (RIP).
What was the last film you saw at the cinema? Probably Star Trek.
What is your favorite TV show? Right now, Psych. All time, the Simpsons.
What is your best childhood memory? I wasn't a child per se, but the day my ferret was brought home was (obviously) a life-changing one.
An embarrassing moment? Anytime pre-college that I made an attempt to ask a girl out.
Which store would you choose to max out your credit card? Don't have a credit card, but if I did, probably the Forbidden Planet in Manhattan. Comics, action figures, D&D stuff, geek shirts, I could buy so much of it.
What is the last cd/mp3 you acquired? I don't remember.
Show us a sample of your handwriting? I don't have a scanner or anything right now, so maybe when I get home tonight.

If you could get rid of ...

One Comic Book movie in production? None. If I don't like the idea, I won't watch it, but I won't deny people the opportunity to do so.

One World Leader There aren't too many that I care about either way.

One Music Band Same answer as my comic book movie one.

One movie series Same answer as my comic book movie one.

One Book Same answer as my comic book movie one.

SuperFerret, where were you on the night of March 16th, 2009?

Standing on a street corner, making this face :awesome: all night.

SuperFerret, why do you love ferrets so?

In high school, my dad rescued a ferret that he found in a dumpster (cage and all) near the building complex he worked in. He brought her home, I named her Evie and she essentially became my furry little daughter. She's since died, but she showed me just how great those little weasels are. They make great pets and I would recommend them to anyone.

Plus, after five years as SuperFerret (a name that even members of my family apply to me), I feel a kinship with them.

Do you want to "have me some fun" like Bill Duke in Predator?

favorite movie ever?
worst movie ever?
favorite type of music?
do you listen to film scores?
if so, which ones?

Do you want to "have me some fun" like Bill Duke in Predator?

As long as I don't have my head hollowed out soon afterwards, sure.

favorite movie ever? Ghostbusters
worst movie ever? Changing my answer. Requiem for a Dream, not a single likeable character in it.
favorite type of music? Rock, mostly.
do you listen to film scores? No, I don't really see the point, aside from the main themes.
if so, which ones? The only one I listen to semi-regularly is the Superman theme.

In the thread about Creationists and Pterodactyls, does it make you hopeful that Michael Crichton predicted the future in the reports of Raptors in South America? :awesome:

It does because in Crichton's novel, he suggests that raptors (I'd extend it to dromaeosaurs in general) were very primate-like in build and intelligence (which they very well could have been, and they do have very primate-like forepaws) and thus would've become the dominant species on the planet had they not died out and made way for humanity's uprising. Throwing raptors back in the mix, especially in the way Crichton described them, would do well in solving the human overpopulation problem.

:atp: you're like a dino expert.

Is your real name Alan?

I know my dinosaurs, it's actually my dream job to be a dino vet, but no, my name is Stephen, not Alan.

However,

I've got the hat! :awesome:

The chance to know everything in existance in the vastness of the universe, or the chance to own the world and everything in it?

Loss of eye sight, or eternal loneliness?

Do you speak from the Head or the Heart?

Of the 7 deadly sins, which one would most likely send you to hell?

What would you prefer, Lover or a Dreamer?

The chance to know everything in existance in the vastness of the universe, or the chance to own the world and everything in it? Chance to own the world. Knowing and having everything makes life uninteresting, but I can't unlearn stuff so I'll just give everything back (maybe redistribute a little to make some stuff better than it is)

Loss of eye sight, or eternal loneliness? Loss of sight. I could probably deal with being blind. I know I can't deal with loneliness.

Do you speak from the Head or the Heart? I don't see them as mutually exclusive. Each helps guide the other and keep it in check.

Of the 7 deadly sins, which one would most likely send you to hell? Sloth, probably, though I'm working on it.

What would you prefer, Lover or a Dreamer?I don't quite understand this one, clarify please?

:yay:

What was the first movie that you can remember seeing in theaters?

Being a member of the Hype, surely you have stood in line for a midnight showing of a movie. What midnight showings have you stood in line for?

What was the first movie that you can remember seeing in theaters?

Jurassic Park. Scared the crap out of me.

Being a member of the Hype, surely you have stood in line for a midnight showing of a movie. What midnight showings have you stood in line for?

I've never attended a midnight showing of any movie, I don't see the point in it anyway, it's not like I won't be able to see the movie eventually. I've only recently started to go see certain movies during their first weekend, but usually I'll wait a week or two.

How do you handle the every day pressures of being a Super ferret?

It's not that hard. I'm naturally awesome, so that helps. I'm also much more humble and modest than anyone about it, so I don't look like a jerk to all those normal people who wish they were me.

Who are you and what did you do with UpperErret?

:cmad: I'll be sending the attack gerbils to you now. Be sure to let them in and offer them something to drink before they rend you in twain.
