Hype Life
When did you join the Hype?
December 29, 2004. A month after my 13th birthday. I used to be such a stickler for the rules. :o

What’s your favorite forum?
The comics boards.

What brought you here?
Batman Begins

What made you stay?
The people. Some of whom have been modded (the former Master Bruce, DOG LIPS, and DBella), others who have just up and vanished. I miss 'em.

Who is your Hype Nemesis?
A while back, when I was the sole defender of Blade Trinity (I was thirteen :o ), there was someone called Darth Plagueis. He's since been banned. Beyond that, no one, I don't post nearly enough to have any nemeses. There are people whose posting habits/styles annoy me, but no one who I can declare to be my mortal enemy.

Fave smiley(s): :o:dry:

What is your current avatar? (post a pic of it if you want)
I'm afraid I can't disclose that information.

What is your Hype Pet Peeve?
Exclusive to the Hype, definitely the lag. In general, poor grammar and spelling and the like.

:awesome:

Real Life:

How old are you?
18

Where were you born?
Mercy Medical Center in NY.

What’s your job?
Student

What kind of vehicle do you drive?
Don't have my license, despite my best efforts. I do have my own car, but since I'm away at school I can't say what it is. Because I'm not entirely sure.

Dream car?
The Batmobile.

What is your greatest regret?
Keeping in touch with this girl I hooked up with on a cruise. That didn't end well.

What is your greatest achievement?
Getting into college, definitely.

High school mascot?
A sailor.

How do you like your steak?
Well done.

What’s a bad habit of yours? Feel free to mention more if you’d like:
I bite my nails. I'm a grammar nazi.

Favorite Place to Eat?
Taco Bell or Applebee's.

How many tattoos do you have? Zero.

Misc
If you could live in any fictional universe, what would it be, and why?
Star Wars. I know for sure I'd be a Jedi, and then I'd get a lightsaber.

If you could be present for any historical event, what? Why?
Woodstock, so I could avoid the brown acid.

Name three people, living or dead, you would want to have dinner with?
Heath Ledger (to discuss his mindset during the role of Joker), Ashley Greene because I  her, and Robert Downey Jr. because it'd never get boring with him around.

What was the last film you saw at the cinema?
Shutter Island. Highly recommended.

What is your favorite TV show?
My favorite show of all time is Scrubs. As for shows on air, Burn Notice and Chuck.

What is your best childhood memory?
Meeting my best friends, definitely.

An embarrassing moment?

Which store would you choose to max out your credit card?
Best Buy or Barnes and Noble.

What is the last cd/mp3 you acquired?
A remix of the Dragonball Z track 'Gohan Angers'

Show us a sample of your handwriting?
Another time, perhaps.

Have you ever been skiing?

Have you ever been snowboarding?

Have you ever been tubing?

Have you ever gone camping?

Have you ever gone hiking?

Have you ever gone caving?

Have you ever gone rock climbing?

Have you ever gone parasailing?

Would you ever skydive?

Would you ever bungee jump?

With more compliments to Marx

Have you ever been snowboarding?
Nope

Have you ever been tubing?
Many a time

Have you ever gone camping?
Yes, once or twice with cub scouts

Have you ever gone hiking?
Yep

Have you ever gone caving?
No

Have you ever gone rock climbing?
No

Have you ever gone parasailing?
No

Would you ever skydive?
One of my goals before I'm 30 is to do so.

Would you ever bungee jump?
Oddly enough, no.

You're not the first to say that you would jump out of a plane but not bungee jump. For you, why would you do one and not the other?

You're not the first to say that you would jump out of a plane but not bungee jump. For you, why would you do one and not the other?

With skydiving, there's the sensation of free fall, where the only thing controlling you is gravity. And you of course have the parachute, so the stop isn't all that abrupt. With bungee jumping, there is gravity, but you also have the cord, so you'd stop short eventually.

That, and the yo-yo sensation would cause me to puke.

Have you been following any of the 'March Madness' basketball games? If so, who are you rooting for?

Have you ever gone bowling? If so, what is your highest score?

Do you play any sports?

No to the first and third questions. Sports aren't my thing. And as for the second, I have indeed been bowling, but it's been years. My scores are consistently mediocre.

I also noticed that you would like to have met Heath Ledger for dinner. What would you ask him?

I also noticed that you would like to have met Heath Ledger for dinner. What would you ask him?

I would first ask why Marx is the only one asking me questions :o :oldrazz:

I'd ask him about his craft, first and foremost. Since he passed before the release of The Dark Knight, I would have loved his insights into the character of The Joker, specifically the Nolan interpretation. Then there's his earlier works, like Brokeback Mountain (which I do enjoy), and even 10 Things I Hate About You. I also would ask him about his daughter, since it had been reported he loved her dearly. I have a soft spot for children

How many times did you see 'The Dark Knight' in theaters?

Are you excited that Christopher Nolan has officially confirmed 'Batman 3'?

Who would you like to see as the villain or villains?

What actors would you like to play said villain or villains?

I love how you inferred from my previous post that I loved Dark Knight. Kudos to you, friend.

How many times did you see 'The Dark Knight' in theaters?

Not nearly enough. Four times.

Are you excited that Christopher Nolan has officially confirmed 'Batman 3'?

Very much so.

Who would you like to see as the villain or villains?

Tough one. Nolan is great with psychology, so Riddler would be great. I'd also like to see a physical challenge, much like Ra's al Ghul, so Bane would be nice.

What actors would you like to play said villain or villains?

No clue who should play Riddler, but I would hope whatever actor is chosen played him differently than Jim Carrey, Frank Gorshin, and John Glover. As for Bane, it may be cliche', but Javier Bardem would do the role justice, should it be written well.

Did you see The Dark Knight in IMAX?

What are your thoughts on the rumors of Batman 3 being shown in 3D?

I was unable to see TDK in IMAX, sadly, though I did see Watchmen in IMAX. Great experience, that.

And as long as Batman 3 is shown in the traditional way, more power to them.

How would you rank the live-action Batman movies? (From best to worst)

Batman The Movie
Batman
Batman Returns
Batman Forever
Batman & Robin
Batman Begins
The Dark Knight

It appears you've caught my love of Batman, the greatest comic book character ever...or at least my favorite. :o

This is personal preference, mind.

The Dark Knight
Batman Mask of the Phantasm (HA! Didn't see that one coming, did you? MUAHAHA)
Batman Returns
Batman Begins
Batman
Batman The Movie
Batman Forever
Batman and Robin

Have you seen Halle Berry's 'Catwoman'? If so, what did you think of it?

I did. It was on AMC (yeah, that's an American Movie Classic? :whatever: ). I did an MST3000 type thing with my friends.

I still refuse to see that movie. I cannot take that version of Catwoman seriously.

Which was worse - Batman & Robin or Catwoman?

Catwoman easily. I can, to this day, find some measure of entertainment value in Batman and Robin. Back when it came out, I was a big fan. Granted I was six at the time, but I enjoyed the movie back then. And there was the hype (no pun intended). The Taco Bell toys, the collectible cups, and the actual merchandise. I had purchased a fantastic Mr. Freeze figure.

Ah, memories.

Have you ever been so disappointed with a movie at the theater that you walked out? If so, what was the movie?
