Are you currently happy with where you are in life? Why or why not?

I am very happy with life at the moment. Grades from uni so far have been very good. My final grade from college was pretty perfect and I am very much looking forward to the future and hopefully what I'm wanting in life will happen, but that will only happen with hard work and dedication.
I am currently single and being quite a romantic, that's not really a good thing, but that's the only thing really. But yes, in general, very happy!

Oh, I am a very, VERY spoiler free person. I try my absolute hardest to avoid any sort of spoiler for any film I want to see but especially a Christopher Nolan film and especially The Dark Knight Rises!
I really want the film to reveal itself in front of me when I'm in front of the screen in July. I've been following this arc since June 2005 and I can't describe how excited I am to see the finishing of this story in 8 (hopefully) short months!

Yes they have.

The first one that springs to mind is Forrest Gump, first when Bubba dies and then Momma and then Jenny.
Click also surprisingly got to me, when Henry Winkler in the future kisses Adam Sandler and says "I love you, son"
Up did at the beginning and the end. That was such a well told beautiful story and it broke your heart in the first ten minutes.
I think the last film to make me cry was Toy Story 3. Who didn't cry at that?! It was quite poignant for me as I'm fairly sure Toy Story was the first film I ever saw at the cinema, so I have grown up with these characters. And also as I was in the same position as Andy going off to college (uni), leaving his house and, in a sense, childhood behind.

That's quite a tough one actually.
I'll say Toy Story, Wall-E and Up, although I of course love all Pixar films. Brave is looking very promising at the moment.

Do you think Cars deserved a sequel?

Batman has killed before in the comics though. Batman killed a man on purpose in the very first appearance of the character and carried a gun at one point. He actually carried a gun in Batman: Year Two which wasn't all that long ago. He has also killed people while being drugged and under the influence of a vampire bite.

I would also add that the only person you see Batman kill on screen in either movie is the Joker. (Which one could argue that Joker's death in B89 was accidental as Batman had no way of knowing the gargoyle would break off from the church.) The other deaths were only implied or suggested.

In any case, Michael Keaton's Batman was very damaged and I think that often gets overlooked. Personally, I like the idea of Batman killing every now and then. If he never kills anyone, criminals become wise to his rules and limits. (As the Joker and Maroni BOTH called Batman out on in TDK.)

I hate that I have to ask this, as I watch TDK religiously, but when exactly does the Joker comment that criminals are wise to Batman's rules? I can only remember Maroni saying this to him, so maybe I'm having a mental break...

Do you think Cars deserved a sequel?

I really enjoyed Cars, visually it's a really beautiful film and it shows what Pixar are capable of.
I was quite surprised that it got a sequel, but the first was very popular with young children and the merchandise made it one of their most successful properties.
It may not have had the best story but I imagine they thought they could develop the characters further in a sequel. I didn't see it but it seemed like a fun movie

I hate that I have to ask this, as I watch TDK religiously, but when exactly does the Joker comment that criminals are wise to Batman's rules? I can only remember Maroni saying this to him, so maybe I'm having a mental break...

Possibly during the interrogation when Joker mentions about Batman having to "break [his] one rule", meaning that Joker knows how Batman works.

What is your favourite comic book / graphic novel and why?

Who's performance are you most excited about seeing in TDKR: Bane or Catwoman?

My favourite graphic novel is probably The Long Halloween as I really like the story and I personally love Tim Sale's artwork.
Another reason would be that I bought it during the Halloween portion of the virals for TDK so it's kind of the nostalgia (even though it was only four years ago) of remembering that.
A few months back I bought all 3 ultimate collections of Brian Michael Bendis and Alex Maleev's run on Daredevil and I loved every one of those a lot.
I recently bought Essex County by Jeff Lemire but I haven't read it yet but I am really excited about it.

I personally wouldn't recast The Joker as whoever would be cast might be trying to imitate or recapture what Heath Ledger brought to the role, instead of giving it their own interpretation. That could be wrong and maybe they would have made it their own, but then everyone would be focusing too much on the differences.
If Joker was meant to be in TDKR, I would have wanted it to only be a cameo as he was just absolutely perfect in TDK.

I am most looking forward to seeing Tom Hardy's take on Bane as he is a brilliant actor and he looks very intimidating from what I've seen so far. Also it will be nice to see Batman have a much more physical opponent.
Despite what I said previously about spoilers, I did watch the video of Bane talking at the football stadium and hearing that voice makes him much more mysterious (at the moment)
I am looking forward to Anne Hathaway as Catwoman as I like the mystery surrounding her regarding "is she a hero or villain?" and seeing her riding the Batpod raises so many exciting questions.

Joker: The only sensible way to live in this world is without rules and tonight you're going to break your one rule.

During the fire escape scene...

Batman: I want the Joker.
Maroni: From one professional to another...if you're trying to scare somebody pick a better spot. From this height, the fall wouldn't kill me.
Batman: I'm counting on it.
Batman: Where is he?
Maroni: I don't know where he is. He found us.
Batman: He must have friends?
Maroni: Friends? Have you met this guy?
Batman: Someone knows where he is!
Maroni: Nobody's gonna tell you nothing. They're wise to your act. You got rules. The Joker? He's got no rules. Nobody's gonna cross him for you. You want this guy? You got one way but you already know what that is. Just take off that mask. Let him find ya.

Haha, this is quite tricky to answer. My friend Josh said to me once that there was a Green Day song that reminded him of me called "Nice Guys Finish Last" and on quite a few occasions people have commented on how nice I was (this just sounds like me bigging myself up now, doesn't it? I don't mean it to be)
I would say on instances, nice guys do finish last, but on others, they definitely don't.
I just try to be friendly and polite with people and if I finish last, I finish last. There'll be another chance soon after.

Yes and no I would say. Certainly, things will happen and it will make you think about what you had done previously, but other times you may just be having one of those days.
But then again, could "one of those days" be down to karma? Thos are the thoughts that keep me up at night.

How did you get those scars?

I have a scar on the bridge of my nose from a skateboarding accident. now, you may read that and think "Huh, that must have been a weird skate trick to scar your nose." If you do think that, then I am afraid I'm about to disappoint you.
I was maybe 9 or 10 and I was attempting to do the thing you see skaters do, in which the stamp down on the back of the board and catch the front wheel trucks (I believe they're called) and then go walking away into the distance to skate another day.
So I stamp on the back of my board and am immediately greeted by the front of the board to my face.
Then a have another faint scar right next to my right eye from when I was in reception (kindergarten) and I was leaning on the front two legs of my chair when it slipped and I caught the edge of the table.
I have a few scars some of which I remember accumulating, others I do not. If I'm going to have a history of scars I'd prefer them to be multiple choice! (was that reference a bit too forced? I thought I should throw in a Joker reference in the answer as the question itself was a Joker reference)

Are you into mythology?

I'm into it in the sense that I know and like all the different stories and elements to it. When we were studying Greek mythology at school was really fun and interesting and I still remember quite a bit about what we learnt then now.
I don't think we covered any Norse mythology at school but I've done some of my own research into that since. I probably prefer all the Greek mythos though.
