Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't the rapist film the attack and pass it around school?

That is correct. The girl not only had to deal with the fact that she was raped, but also that footage of it was seen by many. She also had to deal with the fall out of people making fun of her for it after the footage was spread around.

Kids are terrible, disgusting creatures.
