Uber needs to supply all drivers with a barrier that slodes into the car to seperate customer from driver.
Not to sound like a pessimist but next story we'll be reading is about some deranged elderly woman not letting their passenger out of the vehicle (barriers all over the place) and pulling it into a garage and closing the door with the engine running before walking out simply telling police they forgot about the passenger and left to water some plants...

If safety devices are implemented to avoid a situation such as the one involving the stabbing, I think what's important is that it won't be possible for a problem to occur in a separate scenario concerning the driver as well.That was.....oddly detailed.
