18yr Old wants to sue parents to pay for her college...

Nah shes just like most East Coasters they don't give a F about you, anyone buy themselves.

Hell shes suing her parents. Point proven.

Yeah it's because she's from the east coast. Of course! How didn't we see that before guys? What about barely literate conspiracy theorists who like to generalize whole groups of people based on the actions of one person in a news item? Where are they from??

And just a reminder to the older folks who don't remember so well, this is what college looks like today.

It's absolutely insane how much school costs nowadays. My eduction cost over $40,000. I'm still paying for it...plus interest!:csad:

Mannnnnnnnnnnn!!
My dad had me spend the whole summer once roofing our house for $20!!( of course i blew it in 24 hours on comic books and slurpees!:cwink:) i know what he would've told me if i sued him to pay when i went to school!

Thats cool though... only.. if i were her parent I would counter sue that she had to take care of me when I'm drooling, thinking I'm Abraham Lincoln and peeing in my colostomy bag at 90 years old!
"4 SCORE AND & 7 YEARS AGO"......... OOPS!! clean up on Isle 4!!HAHAHAHAHAHA!!

Dude, she'd probably promise you the world & everything, but once she'd make you sign on the "dotted Line" she'd ship you to a nursing home along with all your pills. I've heard of a lot of real incidents where kids who don't want to be burdened with their elderly parents just ship em off to LaLa Land, which is sad.

Cheerleader Moves Back in With Parents She Sued for College Tuition

Rachel Canning, the 18-year-old high school cheerleader who sued her parents for college tuition, has agreed to move back in with them, her parents' lawyer said Wednesday.

Canning "has returned home and reunited with her parents and siblings. Her return home is not contingent on any financial and/or other considerations," according to Angelo Sarno, attorney for the Canning parents.

The litigious high schooler had been living with her best friend, the daughter of wealthy New Jersey attorney and minor political figure John Inglesino. Inglesino reportedly encouraged Rachel to sue, and even advanced her legal fees.

The dispute between the teen and her parents centered around whether she was kicked out of the family home or left on her own accord because she didn't want to follow the rules. Sean and Elizabeth Canning say their daughter was drinking and hanging out with an unsavory boyfriend, and also refused to respect a curfew.

They also claimed in a court filing that the Inglesino family has given Rachel access to alcohol since she was 15, and on one occasion, she got so drunk on vodka at their house that she vomited on the sidewalk before basketball practice.

Last week a judge refused to award Canning $650 a week in child support, the balance of the tuition at her private high school, and attorney's fees.

It was so nice of that attorney to front her those attorney fees. Glad this spoiled little brat had some sense handed down to her and I hope she enjoys paying part of her friends college tuition now!

You know it has to be awkward as hell in that house right now.
