Just curious if there's any Haruki Murakami fans (or just casually readers) who've picked this up, too. I haven't really started it yet, but I probably will today. I'm hearing that a lot of the buzz around this book is that it's got a good possibility of being regarded as his magnum opus, and possibly even land him the Nobel Prize. I've never tackled a single novel of this size, so kind of intimating, but I'm excited to finally get it.

I just started it, about 50 pages in so far. Pretty solid thus far, but we're just getting started. I'm pretty excited, it'll be my first attempt at reading a novel in the 900 club.

I just got my copy today; I've really enjoyed his other books I've read. I'm looking forward to it, but it's gonna take me forever, though.

Did your copy come with the horrible cover that seems like someone went into a doctor's room and tore the wax paper off the examination table, Number 6?
