2 new trailers?

I really do believe that 2 trailers may be overkill. Someone said it best, just like X-Men 3, there wasn't much to look foward to because all the best stuff was shown in the trailer. But I bet the trailer with Ghost Rider will have more Venom clips.

Superhero Hype! has learned that we won't just be getting a new Spider-Man 3 trailer with Casino Royale on November 17th, but Sony Pictures is attaching another trailer with Ghost Rider as well on February 16th. Isn't that generous? We thought so! Oh, and also look out for new Spider-Man 3 posters around the release of the 21st James Bond installment.

I wonder if the Casino Royale is just a teaser and the one with Ghost Rider is The real theatrical trailer.

Well I knew this was coming...I've known since I've known about both GR and CR.


But it's going to be great.

I never thought that CR would feature SM3 teaser #2, but that's probably what's going on. HOPEFULLY, the teaser features more on Brock and Harry, and Sandman. Nothing else really matters to me. (well everything else matters...but I like me some villains)

And fanboys...this is a sorry to you. (I'm one of them!) Doesn't look like we'll be getting a glimpse of Venom in action (probably get a new Venom poster in November) until Februyary with GR's new SM3 theatrical trailer. I hate it, but whaddayagunnado?!

the only thing that would show huge spoilers in the trailer, that, some people wouldnt like, is if they showed someone die, i mean an important character, venom is a huge spoiler but, im glad if they reveal him in the trailer.

EXACTLY correct!

I mean, I want to see Venom as much as anyone else, but the truth is that the film is more about the symbiote than Venom. Peter's inner battle with hisself, weaknesses, etc. and his outer battle with the darkness of the symbiote is really what the film is summed up to. Sure Gwen, Eddie, and The Sandman add to the drama of it, but the film is ULTIMATELY about Peter.

His turn to darkness, redemption, and the consequences of all he does in the film.

Venom is probably the best villain cwink in the film, but he is not important until the end. When we have our epic "Spidey vs. Venom" battle at the end, it will be like Peter is battling himself again. Only stronger and a much more evil presence will be facing him.

In the end, Peter's only lesson will be that power and darkness corrupt. That's a good lesson to learn you know...

Exactly! and the whole movie audiences will be shown that this symbiote is pure evil, and they'll see what it does to a sweet guy like Parker. That's why they'll emidietly understand that it means MAJOR ****ING TROUBLE when the symbiote slides down to Eddie Brock! The whole movie the symbiote thing will be build up to be a very very evil lifeform, and we need that in order to really apreciate the VENOM character when he finally shows up at the end. If you cut away the rest of the film and just show VENOM in the end, then VENOM will simply be a big black slimy monster with big teeth. With the story that has layed the tracks up to that point VENOM will be one hell of a sweet surprise! (and with meaning which he wouldn't have had without!)

I think 1st full trailer will be some kind of longer version of C-Con footage (also includin first Venom's shots).

But we will be able to see Venom in action, only when Feb 16th comes.

I agree with FarmerFran, i think the new one will be an extended (completed) comic con trailer and the one in Feb will be the "off the wall amazing" (puns intended) trailer that will make us all go insane with anticipation until Spidey 3 actually comes out and we get hit with a TDK Teaser.......now thats gonna be crazy my friends.

Although we all have probably already seen it countless amounts of times, you can get the first Spider-Man 3 teaser trailer on the Monster House dvd from Sony. It would have been great if Sony had put a brand new Spider-Man 3 trailer on the disc.
