I'm just curious.

How much money does the United States spend each year on foreign aid?

and

Which lanuage is the first language for the most people on earth, and what is second, third and fouth?

Or does anybody have a list?

Mandarin is number 1 language in the world by a 2 to 1 ratio.

then english, then hindustani, spanish, russian, arabic, bengali, portugese, malay-indonesian, and number 10 is french.

I think the amount of money the U.S. spends on foreign aid is a misleading statistic.

The private sector should and does do a lot more monetary aid than the government ever will. There's no accounting for the amount that private companies send over doing non-profit work.

If someone wants to spend their money for a charity I'm all for that. But I don't want to spend taxes to help another country while our country is so ****ed up. Take care of ourselves then we can worry about the rest of the world.
