200 Greatest Characters of All Time

No it's the High Renaissance Artist. He wrote himself into a comic in 1510.

That would be awesome if he actually did comics and just never showed anyone, thinking it a low invention. They would be of him like, beating up the pope.

The fact that they put Wolverine over both Superman and Batman is a freaking joke.
i completely agree... batman and superman have a much bigger fanbase and they are the two iconic superheroes.

Bullcrap on #1

I agree with most of the internets here. Spidey, Supes and Batman for the 1-3 in whatever order. Wolverine in 4th

This is another prove that Wizard's staff circle jerks to drawings of Wolverine.

Duh Wizard circle jerks to all marvel comics

Wizard has released their list of the 200 Greatest Characters of All Time and the list goes...

1. Wolverine
2. Batman
3. Spider-Man
4. Superman
5. The Joker

WTF! Wolverine's worlds most over-rated character EVER! I mean guy has claws, is homicidal, curses and growls. And that makes him the BEST character ever?! I can't understand this list. My top five would be:

1. Batman
2. Spider-man
3. Superman
4. Luthor
5. X-men
...
17. Wolverine

Clearly not everyone's pov., as well as my own. I hope they're ready to fight to back it up. And I mean a freakin big fight. Pretty cool that their #1 is Canadian, I will say that.

Why would they have to fight? It's just a crappy magazine's opinion.

Would anyone really honestly put wolverine at #1?

Who's opinion could this possibly have been?

it's obviously a toss up between superman, batman and spiderman.

maybe they are just trying to be contraversial...

Now I don't agree with everything from this list...but I'm happy Doctor Doom wasn't even in the top ten....To me he is very over rated (even though I do like him)....Superman or Batman should of been going at it for the #1 spot though...then third Spidey, the Joker...

This is Wizard, the people who thought that Batman could take Spider-Man down with a single sucker punch.

I love Y: The Last Man and Sin City, but I would not put Yorick and Marv that high. I probably wouldn't put John Constantine at 10, but I haven't read that many books he's in. And I would put V on the list, but I'm not surprised Wizard didn't after seeing that V For Vendetta wasn't on their top 100 graphic novels list.

I don't read the magazine, but I always feel like Wizard favors newer things in their lists.

lol i knew soon as i seen #1 the fanboys would riot

he deserves to be in the top 10 but not number 1, though the blurb they use does have some interesting points

It seems kind of sad that someone felt the need to do this, and publish it in a magazine.

wizard has always been high up on wolvie , a little too much if you ask me .

Dr. Doom is # 18??? That is criminal...how did Magneto get above him or most of those characters...Doom should have been in the top 5 (in my world, he is number 1 but that is a different argument).

Cuz Doom's overrated.

Funny that...Stan Lee once said that if he had to get rid of all villains and keep one, it would be Doom...Doom has been the inspiration for so much over the years, plus I have the wizard where they did the top villains of all time and Doom was number 1....so all this is, is yet another opinion...wrong as it may be...no villain can top Doom...PERIOD

Spoken like a true Doom Lover.

You kidding? No one loves Doom more than Doom himself.

:doom:

My top 3 favorite picks would be...

Green Lantern (Kyle Rayner)
Quasar (Wendell Vaughn - not that P.O.S. that replaced him)
The Flash (Wally West)

I was also a fan of Makarri, but he didn't even catch on as well as Quasar did, and that's not saying much.
Makkari's about to get some major exposure as one of the main characters in the upcoming Eternals series. :)

I actually have that issue.Dom was in the top 5 but The Joker was #1.

I agree with the List, although I would put superman ahead of Batman. Wolverine deserves the top spot, he's a samurai, soldier, immortal mutant, martial arts master, father figure, action hero, super hero, ladies man, and an X-man.

Meh, if anything Wolverine doesn't deserve the #1 spot. Spidey or Batman are more well-suited for that position. And Doc Ock not even in the first 100?

The list is BS.
