I would imagine most Cowboys fans would want Dallas to have the worst record possible, which would make Jones more inclined to get a new head coach and give up some of his power.

I think Jones wants Garret to succeed so he can continue calling all the shots.

Jerry has already said something along the lines of Jason Garrett having the final say on which staff and players get hired, but we'll see.... and I can't speak for all Cowboy fans but I like Garrett, he bleeds blue and silver if he just wanted a head coaching job he could've gotten one two years ago, but he has history in Dallas, and I want a coach with that kind of passion for his team. hopefully he doesn't piss Jerry off tho.

I don't see Garrett kicking Jones out of the locker room like Parcells has. I do think Jones wants Garrett to succeed and while he has stated he will have the final say with staff and players, I still think Jones will be pulling the strings.
