Got me curious.

Does Brady do a lot of commercials in the Boston area?

The only thing I can remember him doing was a Special Olympics Commercial, not sure if that would be considered local though.

Guys like Paplebon and Pedroia do a lot of local commercials, car dealerships, tires, Dunkin Donuts.

You forget about this awesomeness?

So....yeah, that's the first time I saw this. I know it's Uggs for Men but he might as well be doing Dolce. :o

They ran a pretty funny bit on local radio playing audio highlights of came winning TDs with a voice over. The point was to lead you to believe they were talking about Tim Tebow, then at the end there was this line, "The reason they call Tim Tebow the 2nd coming is because Tom Brady was here first."

LOL, that is pretty good.

I wish these people on ESPN and NFLN lip-polishing Tebow's knob would acknowledge that there is a difference between a come-from-behind win like Brady has repeatedly done and a suck-for-three-and-a-half-quarters-while-my-defense-keeps-me-in-the-game-and-then-throw-for-a-score win, which is Tebow's specialty.

I hope Brady pulls a 59-0 win this Sunday, like he did against the Titans a few years ago.

I rather see a 59-0 Brady over any NFC team in the Superbowl. In fact, New England 70-10 over the NFC in the Pro Bowl.

Make it happen, Goodell.

Just read the news about Richardson declaring. I wonder what team is going to land him.

Is there still bias against the NFC or AFC? I mean it's not like in Baseball with purists who like the NL vs. the AL.

I understand back around the 1960s between the AFL and NFL, but is there any real difference now?

I take you're not from Northern Virginia then, because it's pretty much Redskin Country everywhere here.

Yeah, I'm from Hampton Roads. Around here, people are either Redskins fans (majority) or Steelers fans (a decent amount).

From me personally? I don't have a bias. To be completely honest, half the time, I don't even remember which conference some teams belong to (like the Dolphins, Seahawks, etc.).

AFL was a different league seen as an 'upstart' in the beginning, but nowadays, it's just really for divisions, as there's no rule difference like the DH in baseball.

This is a disgraceful rule, can't believe it was ever passed.

Never did like the black out rule ethier. Sometimes people just cant afford to go to a game or the teams are loosing or other elements come into play. just greed at its finest, but the nfl cares about the fans......

Same with the jersey bootleg scandal going right now, if the nfl wants the fans to fully support them then make it alittle more affordable to participate. Lower jersey cost, lower ticket cost, dont penalize the fan base if a stadium cant fully fill up. I dont see monday night raw blacking out shows if an arena is fully sold out or the nhl or baseball. shoot if the baseball did this then I could never catch an orioles game.

Wouldnt rules like that make stuff like the NFL Sunday Ticket Obsolete ?

^ Local games are blacked out on Sunday Ticket to begin with, to force you to watch the local network's broadcast. The whole point of Sunday Ticket is to watch out of market games.

Word has it that Fisher is going to the Rams. Stephen Ross's gay love for Jeff Ireland is going to run the Miami Dolphins into the ground. No new coach will come to a team where he can not bring his own GM & have no say in the decision making

Two days ago "sourcers were telling ESPN," that he would be the Dolphins' coach. At this point, I think Fisher and his agent are basically leaking this information to create a bidding war. Fisher is playing games and both sides should give him the finger by hiring Mike Zimmer and Rob Chudzinski.

Yeah, I'm sure Fisher had some underhanded tactics to get him a bigger paycheck from the Rams organization, but at least he didn't go to Miami and their volatile situation over there just because he won't need to pay income taxes. Going to Rams (which is rumored to return to Los Angeles, Fisher's hometown, if their stadium issues aren't resolved) is the right decision.

No sane established coach like Fisher will ever come to the Dolphins. Without being able to bring in his own people & what not & have no say in personal decisions. Jeff Ireland has that power. Thats been stated in a few articles already. Jeff Ireland has the draft decision making power, personal decision power etc. No established coach will be taking this job. Ross needs to wake up & get back to reality

Yeah, it's one thing to have owners like Snyder and Jones to make all the decisions like they were the GM, but doing what Ross did (giving Ireland all the powers) is about as bad. Ross should've recognized the dire situation with his ballclub and really clean house, instead of keeping Ireland but got rid of everyone else.
