Glad someone else nominated him. For a short timespan a thought I was the only one extremely annoyed by him. If there ever was a thought of leaving the Hype, it was because of him.

I have totally missed all of these Alexei B debates, haha, I only ever got into the one debate with him, about the Wolverine solo movies, but I have to say, at the risk of sounding like an ass-kisser, which i most certainly am not, i know the the guy dislikes me, but i don't care... it was a very enjoyable debate that went on for a couple of days, and he displayed no dickish traits during it's course, eh, maybe he sneaked in a veiled dig at me at one point, haha, but he was a good one for getting into a debate with.

Have i even nominated for this category yet? I can't recall, I dunno if I wanna make anyone infamous, they might get a kick out of it.

Seriously? That guy was a pain-in-the-bottom for months in the Avengers forum...

I forgot about AB. He was an annoying prick.

I haven't been to the Avengers boards in months.

I'm definitely voting for Alexei, the only person ever to bring me to curse on this site. I even hate his avatar.

We could probably organize nearly the entire Avengers forum to stuff the ballot box for AB. He is the only person on this site I've ever gotten angry with. And it's useless to put him on the ignore list because he pisses other people off so much that his inanities are endlessly quoted.

If a guy who negates the usefulness of the ignore function isn't a good nominee, I don't know who is.

Keeps getting warned by mods, but not banned. The best part of his warnings is when he unleashes the SHH "kliq" defense (his spelling, not mine). Me, Wolvie, and a few others are all "veteran posters out to get him." Ridiculous.

I haven't ripped him a new one in a while. I'm going to go do that now.

After years of posting in sports forums, I've learned a few things. The most common sight in an internet message board is the rabid fan. You challenge that team or player he holds so dearly & he'll show you his true colors - whether they're civilized or brutally vicious. In the case of my fans in this thread (you know who you are) the reaction was anything but civil. These guys don't wanna "discuss" anything. They want people to come into their favorite threads to do nothing more but blindly support that which they love (in this case the works of Marvel Studios). I don't care if you love the Steelers. In a Super Bowl thread, I'm gonna point out their flaws to you. You can call me every name in the book, it won't make any of the flaws I'm bringing up disappear. Vote me in as "Dick of The Year" if it makes you feel better. Marvel Studios is still a mediocre studio in my eyes, fellas.

eh, I think i know what he is talking about, I can only go by experience. Alexei was fine in the Wolverine debate I had with him, and did we did not see eye to eye on the choice of director, but neither of us was sarcastic or insulting about the other's opinion.
But you know what, yesterday I expressed some views on Marvel studios that were not entirely positive, and a couple of the posters who have come in here and voted for him being a 'dick', responded with sarcastic insults to my points. Y'know, as if, how dare I critisise the Thor movie, I must be a moron.
But, as it turned out, my points were fine, it was their responses that were ill thought out and, possibly, biased, due to their particular fandom. They had no rebuttals that carried any weight once you got past the bs sarcasm and insults.

So, there has never been the case of a bunch of bullies ganging up on someone because they are jealous of them for whatever reason?
I mean, look at what has gone on in here, it's just a bunch of folk using the thread as an excuse to gang up on someone and insult them.
It's goes against exactly what they said in the OP, as to the thread's intention.

I don't know Alexi, and I don't visit the forums his discussions seem to have sparked some controversy.

But I agree with Thebumwhowalks on this one.

This is supposed to be a tongue in cheek hearty ribbing of fellow posters - good natured fun.

It's not supposed to be a serious personal attack

Just on this page you can see he's been called an annoying prick, pain-in-the-bottom, a *****e - and someone bragged 'just rippped him a new one' as though this is some 'beat Alexi' challenge thread.

That's not good natured. That's people who actually dislike the poster.

I just don't think it's neccesarily right for this thread to be dominated by it.
