Nobody ever wears the crap that shows up on these runways. I saw The Devil Wears Prada. That runway crap trickles down and gets diluted at the consumer level. At most, we'll be wearing the color patterns.

well, that's what the Romans (skirt- and robe-wearing all) said about breeches, trousers, and all sorts of barbarian pants. Which took after all...

And those runway fashions are always tweaked to apply to the real world.

In summer, I wear my utilikilt and when I go jogging, I wear a running skirt, which is surprisingly more comfortable than jogging shorts. My girlfriend suggested I give them a try. Boy, was she right! I get compliments all the time from women on my skirts and shaved legs!

Living here in Japan, I often see men carrying fanny packs as messenger bags. Some of the fanny pack designs look very similar to purses. Pink, purple and other similar colors that Americans consider feminine are considered unisex here. Living here has made me realize how insecure Americans are in their sexuality.

All that being said... I will never wear a skirt.
