This is a continuation thread, the old thread is [split]461255[/split]
you can't be a fan of any top tier player or team in the NBA without being called bandwagon. Just comes with the nature of the sport for some reason. That guy probably didn't know much about basketball himself.
How terrible for you.
It's unfortunate because of how poorly the Magic organization has been most years but it's admirable.
I'm a Knicks fan for life. I've got great memories of following that team when I was a kid and bailing on them just because an idiot bought the team just seems like taking the cheap way out. I'll just have to deal with it and hope it changes one day.
Meh, the "player driven" aspect is exactly what I hate about the NBA. People are fans of players, and then just follow them around to whatever team they go to. Nobody is a fan of the team.
Sorry, I don't care where Shaq, Penny, T-Mac, or Dwight Howard go. I'm a Magic fan.
I could see that happening, either him or Paul George for that matter.Seems like everyone is trying to outdo each other and post a better #. First KD dropped 54, then Melo went off for 62, and now Terrence Ross put up 51 (in a loss though). Who's next? I say Kevin Love drops 50 in a game or 2.
STOP THE PRESSES EVERYONE!!!! MEDIA OUTLETS ARE REPORTING THAT LEBRON JAMES WOULD LIKE TO SCORE 60 POINTS IN A GAME!

Clearly he is the only player who would like to do this! Such important news!
In other news, the sports media has jumped the shark.
Nope! I'm calling it: Steph Curry!

Agreed. I can definitely see that happening, Steph is a beast! He dropped 54 last year against the Knicks. I think he's going to drop at least 70 at some point in his career. The kid's an assassin.![]()
As a Heat fan, it bothers me that he seems really focused on personal milestones this season. This paired with his obsession with KD is not good.
