When tmz releases proof today that the nfl had the tape all along he will step down.

From what I just read, they never ever bothered asking to see the tape in the first place. They suspended him based on what they read in the papers.

This is a major, major fail on their part.

I think someone said it. He didn't get released or suspended because they saw the tape but because we saw the the tape. Honestly, I think the Ravens and the NFL were aware so I'm not about to pat either on the back.

Between the OL not being able to give Eli enough time to pass or enough movement to let the RB run, or receivers who can't run routes or understand audibles, it's going to be a very long season.

Regardless of if they just saw it, or just read it, he should've gotten the punishment he has now simply for putting his hands on a woman.


Period.


You don't need to see it happen to know that what he did is unforgivable. He knocked her out. And until yesterday, we (including the NFL) had ALL seen the aftermath.

And even after seeing that, Roger Goodell, the NFL, and the Ravens front office decided that him playing this season was more important handing down the punishment he so rightfully deserves, and earned when he knocked out his fiancee.
